  1. Dis iz BS. 1st of I am not a kid. 2nd of we all know how IRL work politics is done: 1 pep works, 5 peps pretend to work and polish their excuse BS skills. I worked in enough jobs of all kinds to know it to be true. A thing that peps can do in 1 day, they finish in 1 week with all their excuses with most popular (unlike here where all goes: well it's only my part time job here) being: pointing at the pile of papers and saying "I have lot of work to do" when that god damned pile was standing there for 1/2 a year! or.. just blaming the colleagues. 3rd I played years ago similar pokemon online game and there they said the same thing: this is our part time job for leisure activity. For 3 years they could not fix damage calculations: all matk and all patk damage was calculated only as patk dmg. For 3 years they could not fix a god damned damage calculations explaining to us all and then angry kids joining the chant: we have IRL life and jobs, this is our hobby so buzz off. When we will have time we will do it! :D ... until 1 of the staff members went haywire and exposed that they were getting incomes of the game approx 20k $ a month which was supposed to be only "side project". The end result was that staff broke, community dissolved and game was gone. At that time, before game was dissolved, peps/staff members who were pulling all that $ who were singing "this is only our side project, we have IRL life so we will do it when we will feel like having time" were soooo active that in 1 day they managed to fix all bugs trying to save a game that generated them 20k$ while they were sitting on their fat asses singing a song "we are buisy". Even wanted to fly servers to other country. That's what happens when fat asses get on fire after hearing that they will be loosing their 20k$ a month. This announcement was made last year and not being able to finish implementation of this game is BS and we al know it. So stop trying to tell us that we are too stupid to understand at what paste the 'actual work' of IRL is being done. This was supposed to be already done 3 months ago latest if taken even mediocre seriously and instead of giving excuses, taking that time to do actual work not sitting on couch and watching TV.
  2. phew, I feel safer already that there are more good hearted, kind and harmless ppl like myself :) So where do you want to meet Tritious... I will drive my candy van there and we can talk more about kind heartidness and play with plushy dolls ..... http://en.wikifur.com/w/images/thumb/a/aa/Pedobearseal.jpg/602px-Pedobearseal.jpg
  3. They already forgot dis update and just chilling doing nothing again and u all fantasying about them working day and nite to bring u new content... le begging le updates on work while they all with beer in le hand sitting watching TV and laughing from ya. Have some self respect and decency there !
  4. they won't commit to a definite date..... at least give us a roadmap to the game on how you see game evolving and when u want to achieve those goals so that we would see that POkemmo still has a future of some sort... We been hearing that 'Soon_tm" for last 3 years now, regarding new content, Pokemon Abilities, Legendary Dungeons, New Regions and new pokes, we would like to see some content being added as well as dates to be committed to when we would expect it to be done. ... so would be nice to know when you are planning on adding whatever you are working on.
  5. Xatu has actually some pretty neat ideas, so don't see a point jumping on him just because some want to be Staff Pet/Bish (ya analogy to teacher's pet). I liked his idea of pvp area where u can have increased farming potential and etc. aside from the fact that he has been here longer and more loyal PokeMMo player than I have....not that I agree with entire list of his ideas or statements but that's what diversity is after all.... right? I am also looking forward to new content, hopefully to satisfy ppl who want to have gen 3 pokes and moves DEVs will implement tourneys where u can choose at what gen u are agreeing to battle at, tho I don't see much benefit there since all will roll to best moves of all gens and gen 3 tourneys will be like UU/NU vs OU tier now but I believe still for ppl who want just to have gen 3 battles this option should be available. Now all promises and etc here 'see what we have in store for your... it will be awesome.. and etc' (just reworded but saw it written by official staff)... I really hope that u will not mess up here and won't be another politicians with empty promises... I also want to see a SET date commitment: when we should expect new content and generation not 10 years after being brought out of blue.... saying 'well here is our promised content, remember back in 2017 we wrote about new gen.....' . (since we been waiting for like 3 years with 2 years of promises for new Gen and Dungeons)
  6. 2nd that: I demand Legendaries in dis order to be available to be cough in legendary dungeon: 1. Jirachi. 2. Celebi 3. Shymin. 4. Lugia 5. Latios/Latias 6. Meliolatta 7. Others and I 2nd the idea of limited legionaries - example.: u may keep only 1 legendary at a time, such that a person should CHOOSE what legendary he/she wants to have. This would also signify that legendary is exclusive POWA poke 1 of the kind, saying something like that Legendary 'supports' a trainer (not like 100 legendaries supporting the 1 trainer) but rather 1 legendary stands behind 1 trainer and lends that unworthy noob it's powa, not the other way around lowly noob having 1000 legendaries. Tho I would kind of also prefer when legendary dungeon appears to implement 'choice of element' thingy such that a trainer would side with certain element, whch in return Legendary of that element 'favors' that trainer, therefore lends him his powa (or I guess a trainer can catch only pre-chosen region Legendaries only). Tho all legenaries MUST (even the refrigerators) be implemented no matter which gen moveset - yes I am all for jirachi, celebi, and shymin :3 Tho I kind of want more legendaries to be kept at a 1 time since hard to choose only Jirachi x.x, but 1 would be fairest I think... Legendaries definitely not breedable. If u catch shiny Legendary u may keep 1 more legendary then. In that way even pvp would be more fun since all could have only 1 legendary poke and anticipation which one each has along with moveset could make more variability in pvp. I believe that most legendaries are 600 IV pokes and OP Legends of OP IV count can be made temp catch to fight over with like MewTwo is atm or just new tier I guess ;o
  7. Attached image, please fix it so I could access it to battle it (I presume). Tnx in advance. upload jpg
  8. we finished yesterday a run: 3 children presents and 1 boss that drops big wheel thingy in 1 run 3 presents = 1 gift box 1 big wheel + 5 (or was it 4) bolts = 2 gift boxes yesterday got a gingerbread out of it :D
  9. I second that, there is missing a REAL PvE endgame content. For ppl who don't want to pvp there is literally nothing else to do aside from breeding, catching shinies (which are VERY grindy) - how long do you think a person can grind same f... patch of grass before he gets bored? Day, two.... week max...running forth and back and forth and back and forth and back and etc and that's a gg for a PvE person - end of PvE content. Second PvE content I would 'call' which is atm MOST exciting is chat and talks about TRUMP and his Mexican walls. That's all there is to it, you can also say well we have Battle Tower/Frintier and e4, whereas e4 rewards are joke (50k gold for 2-3h grind and pay in items ~100k). Even then it gets boring after 30 fights in a row... atm I am doing Battle Frontier 2nd day in a row since I have a goal on making to the top 100 charts, but after I make it there what's next? ;o Literally there is little to none PvE events that are NOT a grindfest, and a person who already grind though entire game sure is not much excited about more grindfest'ing. Now regarding the Legendary Dungeon, I highly doubt that in all this time this concept could not be finished, especially when e4 and Battle Tower all poke combinations were implemented to counter different builds and pokemon along with completed coding for randomization (meaning all you need is to 'borrow" the combinations from these PvE instances) , all that's left is getting NPC and making another reward box (which was done for Halloween event), heck even Halloween had a SUPERBOSS which could of been copy-pased to Legendary Dungeon as a Boss or 1 of couple bosses. THAT'S IT, u have Legendary Dungeon, and don't come here and tell me that DEV was too busy for last 1/2 a year not being able to add those 2 together to make legendary dungeon when all coding IS ALREADY DONE from previous contents (copy-paste with more copy-paste, and you get any dungeon you want). So stop BSing and bring the content that was supposed to be done already. Also here is my 2 cents: 1. Legendary Dungeon should be both: team and solo mode. Entry fee should be high, either item or items + $ for a chance to get legendary pokes whereas chance to roll legendary from box should be high, IF u finish the dungeon that is (it was promised it will be very difficult dungeon). I would suggest 1 mill + 2 or 10 hard stones or something for entry fee. Every week legendary poke gained from box changes. This way attempts for Legendary dungeon would be seldom and completions even more rare but if you win , legendary dungeon drop box would have a good chance getting Legendary poke. This way it would allow to stop grindfest of battling which can be quite annoying as well and would focus more and 'trying to use up the chance that u have' not just a grindfest battling till you get the wins. 2. You can have daily or weekly item hunts whereas you can exchange items for certain prizes from certain NPCS. FOR EXAMPLE: You need to hunt down squirtle with 150 IVs in total to exchange for box that contain squirt hat or something. You can exchange 5 everstones for 1 box of something or for $ (tho I do not recommend $ since ppl will hoard on items and wait). 3. PvE content Battler Frontier: 1 week is announced list of pokemon: either 3 specific pokemon or given a list of 5-7 pokemon from which u need to pick 3 pokemon and try to Battle Frontier reach certain level with those pokemon. If u reach u get weekly prize (or prize/event should be done for 3 day duration and change every 3 days or twice a week with 1 day being a break) , if you come in 1st u get extra box that contains event item. This would encourage ppl doing PvE content. 4. Ribbon contest is another pve item that noone uses since it's pricy and useless. I bet that given so much staff we have here and if you would take time to brainstorm each for 1h you can think of that event as well, considering that I am not a staff person and I wrote all these ideas down of top of my head even w/out giving much thought. I am confident that with your experience and intelligence and numbers you can DEFINITELY come up solution if you put some effort. Cheers Me, :D
  10. ya I meant char sprites. I was hoping at least 1/3 size pixels of current which would be possible to add more detail to items and chars appearance such as for example: Hair line between hair and face, hands with fingers, along with all IM items would look more and shape like intended items.
  11. Is there going to be or is it even possible to get higher resolution sprites being prepared? I do understand that game is what? 10+ years old but graphics are still crude and sometimes item does not seem like an item till you read its name.
  12. actually increased rewards would be the only reason I would ever do NU/UU unless doing NU/UU would be forced for 1 or another reason. Why OU and not NU/UU? that's the simple answer, u want the best pokes for pve with which u can pvp too. That's where OU comes into play, some ppl. even breed ubers which they can't use in pvp at all (let us ignore double battles which happen seldom and uber singles I am yet to remeber to see in tourneys), and let's face the fact OU> NU/UU. So why would I want to breed entire team of NU/UU if they will be useless to me in PvE content when I can just PvP in OU? I personally bred my entire team such that I would be able to do well in pve content and pvp (and I believe 90% of other players did the same - if u have a choice of 1 poke to breed, u really wont go picking weak poke to breed UNLESS there is a very good reason/reward), which are all OU. I won't go to NU/U with 1x31s just to have my ass kicked and get 0 rewards since reward buffs will be for winning side, if I really want to go to NU/UU it better be worth my time breeding 4x31+ team pokes and investing shitload of time in that. Else I will just breed strong poke and do OU..... I suggest, if extra reward reward, it should be either something that would give strong incentive to do that tier, that is extra buffed reward (BP) or exclusive rewards for tier where u wont be able to get anywhere else in other tier. Such as maybe: 10 wins for exra shiny encounter rate for so-and-so long for 1 tier, then for another tier % (and no not 1 or 5% but ~50% which would translate to maybe around 50-100k a day if u grind ALL) extra $ generated from battles and npcs for so and so long (maybe 30 h since reward start), then last one something else.
  13. I demand re-check for shiny pokez as well as settle on the shiny confirmation thingy. I think it would be more appropriate noting what pokez ppl. have not HAD. Meaning, for example trapinch/vibrava/flygon is the same poke but reported as existing all 3 evos, when it's already a flygon only in existance. If a guy cought trapinch and evolved it to flygon, trapinch no longer exists. Of course it's hard then to confirm wheather trapinch is still not evolved or not, but... I think it's still tad better than giving illusion that some ppl have cought 3 shiny trapinhes when it was only 1. I suggest on rarer pokez to list all who have it (that is if count is less than 3). Also chikorita, totodile, cindaqual are missing
  14. God fuking dam, killed shiny growlith because of the fuking acid. Appearently it's AoE..... http://imgur.com/a/abwZG http://imgur.com/a/sHvgX ... and on top of it it was a female which is like 1/8 chance...

    ~Road to 100m~

;oo at dis rate 50 weeks or 1 year ;ooo
  16. omg soo not fair =/ Been breeding for ages with loads of nice pokez, but never gotten shiny ;o
  17. I found 2 shinies 1,7k hours played so far. Grind a lot as well but for catching pokes for breeding as opposed for shinies whereas breeding took a lot of time. Now.. what dino said in last post is pretty misleading and does not give much insight into the shiny catch rate, tho it kind of gives average HIGHER bounds for catching a shiny. Shinies and you: An informative PSA While there's nothing to say that hasn't already been said in some form or another, here's a few important facts that keep being distorted. Aside from Donator Status, there are no significant ways in which players can boost their shiny rates. New players do not have a better chance than older. Most importantly RNG is RNG, there is no guarantee to get a shiny in 100,000,000,000 encounters. Each encounter is a new RNG roll, independent of any previous. Statistical outliers will exist in both extremes. For every new player who gets a shiny, many thousand more do not. Encountering lots of things, like using Hordes, is still the most effective way to encounter a shiny. And here's some data. Of the last 100 captured shinies: The average played time is 15.76 days. (11.33 days if ignoring top 3/bottom 3 outliers) The minimum played time is 1.67 hours. The highest played time is 235 days. 78 out of 100 were captured with a player with more than 1 day of played time. Assumption: 1 minute = 1 encounter (note: at some times u grind npcs or just chat so u don't catch pokez during entire game played time, but when you actually grind, u do battles faster than 1 battle per minute or grind, should take around from 20-30 secs). 11.33 days (take out extremeties assuming "bell" curve), meaning if I recall correctly 95% chance for catching poke. 11.33days x 24h/day x 60 mins/h = 16,315 mins or 16,315 chance. Now THIS chance is actually of ppl who SUCCEEDED in catching a shiny and not a chance of total ppl who attempted for a shiny (grind and succeeded within last 100 attempts that data was given for and grind and failed during this time period). Therefore, 1/16,000 chance is the best chance (or the highest chance) in case ALL within 11.33 day period would get a shiny poke, which is NOT true. Now that u know the expected HIGHEST catch rate, if I were to further assume some things could give an educated GUESS about the average or expected actual catch rate. As of today, 4 shiny pokez were placed on mart. Therefore let's assume that 1/2 of the ppl put pokez on mart (mainly noobs for $ which is favoring shiny catch rate assumption since we all know that there are more noobs than season ppl so probably ratio sould be 1:4 or even 1:5, where 4 and 5 is actual placed pokez on mart by noob-season expected tendency and the other one is kept). Therefore, 8 shiny pokez are cought a day. Therefore assumption: average 8 shiniez are cought a day. Assumption 2: around 100 ppl are playing at 1 time throughout entire day. Of couse it highly depends on day time, what day and etc. and they play after work. Poke grind rate stays as before: 1 encounter per 1 min with reason explained before. Therefore, 1 day/(8 shinies x all ppl) x 24 h/day x 60 mins/h x 1 encounter/1min x 100 ppl = 18,000 encounters per 1 shiny or chance 1/18k now if we assume 4 are sold and 2 are kept (which might be closer to actual shiny encounter/retention rate), then chance scales to 18,000x8/6 = 24,000 encounters per 1 shiny. Now, Kyu in 2015 post said that it's UNUSUAL for not getting a shiny after 40,000 encounters. Therefore there is your upper bound. From these posts from GMs you can deduce this: shiny catch rate is between 1/16,315 and 1/40,000, but DEFINITELY should not be HIGHER than 1/16k. If I were to give an educated guess I would guess shiny rate being around 1/24,000. From my shiny encounter rate 2 in 1,700h, whereas I believe I cough my 2nd shiny at around 1,500h , I should also note that I strongly bred which takes days (much more than average player did), therefore I did not spend so much time hunting for shinies (in fact I was not even focused on hunting for shinies) I would rate my actual grind time to spent in-game time 1:2, meaning encounter rate for me would be around 1,5 min per encounter, therefore my shiny encounter was around 1500h x 60min/h x 1 encounter/1,5 min = 60,000 encounters per 1500h played that got me 2 shinies, or 1/30,000 shiny encounter, if that would give you a feeling on the actual shiny catch rate. Best Regards, Me :D
