At least on YT and Twitch we need reasoning to do it. If we are not held to our own decisions, judgments, and actions within the powers we hold over others, and answer to why we took the decision we did, it is an offense we are fired for. All are allowed to know "why" the decision is made and held, even as a fellow MOD. This is a normal behavior of most communities that allow people to hold power and delegate the actions of users in a proper way. This is normal of any company, any institution, and any community. So asking "why" should not be an inflammatory question. I do not defend one side or the other, but as a MOD/GM of channels and games, it is an interesting approach which is off balance when no accounting of action is in place.
