Although, idk what beef you have with Riga, even if he is a fraud he's been here forever and is a pretty reasonable guy. If there's any candidate for the tier council that should know how the system works, it should be him.

@Gunthug Genuinely curious, there must have been some cases in the past of people being admitted to TC before a vote or can you clarify on if they were added much beforehand. It seems like this would solve a lot of controversy.

This just tells me, get a snorlax. OR get a fighter. Seems like there are two decent options. If something is overly used, and is not banned, then there must be some fairly good ways to counter it.

ok venu too forgot that. Just because a couple of them are better than others for a specific purpose, and a lot of teams would have 4 walls. Then a 45% rate is not overly surprising.

Also how many special walls are there in the OU tier that is known for walls, the only ones that I have really seen stand out are chansey, snorlax, umbreon, (milotic maybe). Who else? that may have more to do with the usage rate than anything else.

I am loving where this is going and all but let's be civil. No need to let bias overcome logic. I agree that opinion must be split otherwise there wouldn't be such a diverse range of opinions. That being said, the conditions under which the vote was taken, not the actual vote itself, do seem a little bit suspicious. From my point of view anyway, based on the information here.

Also IF what hotarubi says is true, that the people admitted to the tier council publicly supported a side before admission. Not privately amongst the council. THEN were added before a specific vote. In which the view they had expressed would be voted on. Would that be considered reasonable?

That would just be banning out two special walls, judging by your pic and name you like special attackers. I would say that is a bit far.

Nonetheless. It seems that everyone will have their opinion I agree. So why not base it on prevailing opinions, a sample of 4-6 from tier council seems a little small?

I don't want to go so far as corruption. Just transparency. Let's keep this moderate. So theoretically people can be added to tier council just before a certain vote? Also so then the logic on typhlosion was that it fell between the percentage list. Then it was deemed that typhlosion would not upset the UU metagame, correct?

Ok so you just said they discuss it for weeks before coming to an outcome right. Then that means the two new people to the council were admitted weeks ago? or that they didn't participate in the vote? Is that correct?

Yes but in the previous argument. People were stating that if you opened issues up for voting then people who were new and had no idea would vote. How is this possible if new people don't have accounts.

Just wondering. Based on the last topic, people in charge seem to wait for a post that supports their view then close the topic. Is this a prevailing trend? I am sorry I am new here but it does seem a little contrived. Also how many truly fresh people use forums, can I get a running list of comments by everyone who sees this who is new? I want to know. Just because it seems that people think there are a vast amount of people out there in the community that actually care about forums but also know nothing about the game.
I will start. I am new I only have 500 hours in game.

Alright let's go.
#1 Jazz and Blues. Because I can relax to it, it has feeling, soul, and isn't in my face.
#2 I can't say that I don't like anything. I like to think everything has strengths to it. Even mainstream pop at the moment, bland as it may be. Offers a social narrative and discourse to look back on in the future.
#3 I really like Nina Simone, other than that, I tend to judge songs on individual merits, not by who made them.
#4 Almost any club song from 2011, bad year.
#5 Nope.
#6 I have friends who are in metal bands, so I go to their gigs occasionally, other than that just a few music festivals here and there.
#7 0, I tend to have movie things in stead.
