Nothing against jonulo, it's the opposite actually, I'm happy for him. Thing is, the game doens't feel rewarding at all for the rest of us who go thousands of encounters without jack shit to show from it.

I, and many others keep on breeding pokemons daily, and we don't feel any impact money wise, it all comes down to money and time management. plain boring honestly, having to re-do time after time to achieve results, plus not good for a competitive environment nor for pokemmo overall economy honestly, why would someone who plays this casually, care or even bother about breeding? Makes no sense. If you want to play this like a emulator, you don't require breeding to do so.

same could be said about old school runescape and runescape, difference is, they have a dedicated team, they also have a pretty large playerbase that actually prefers the 'vanilla' over the updated versions. The same can't be said here.

This doens't mean you should not breed them. This has nothing to do with breeding or not. This means, some comps will become obsolete and breeding fodder, but until then, and even after, they're still usable.
