What I think qualifies as disabled? Um, anyone with a physical or mental problem that makes them unable to perform tasks as proficiently a normal human. Not really sure where that one's going.
Well, I'd be lying if I said even I didn't have the occasional racist thought or crack a joke at another group's expense. It's a natural human thing to look down on groups that aren't your own. Helped our ancestors to form better familial bonds and work together while competing for resources. That said, I think it's best to try and reduce such notions as racism in the world we live in today. We live in much larger societies than our ancestors did, with a much larger "familial" group. It's important to try and make sure this group gets along reasonably well, so that it can continue to prosper.
Also, you'll note that I used the word "natural" in the previous paragraph. Don't mistake that to mean "wholesome and good." Natural simply means it's the way things are without any work in either direction by us.
I do agree that sexism goes both ways, and the male side is considerably downplayed. It's socially acceptable for a woman to say "men are pigs, they only want sex" in a crowd, but not for a man to say "women are materialistic, they only want money and power." Honestly, I'd prefer if it weren't socially acceptable in either sense. Judging an entire group based on a ridiculous stereotype is offensive no matter what gender you are.
There's a lot of (misinformed) people that would say "Terrorists are muslims that bomb stuff." I'd disagree. Terrorism, in my opinion, is exactly what it sounds like if you forget all preconceived notions that the media has given to you. Something intended to induce fear in a populace. This doesn't even necessarily have to be an attack of some kind. Bomb threats (even without an actual bomb) exist to scare people. Even shouting "FIRE" in a crowded room is just supposed to scare people, and could be considered a form of terrorism as such.
That said, it's pretty easy for anyone that isn't a sociopath to take a stance on terrorism. It's just wrong, no ifs ands or buts about it.
This is a more interesting one. Totalitarianism has terrible connotations in countries like America, where "democracy" and "free market" are touted as the greatest things since our ancestors first stumbled upon rubbing two sticks together to make fire. It's certainly not my favorite system for ruling a country, but think about this for a moment. A family unit is a totalitarian establishment. Children do not get to vote, the parents get final say in all things. There are situations where every system can work. [/devil's advocate]
Easy. What people do in the privacy of their own bedroom is not my business, nor any authority's. They are welcome to pursue happiness however they see fit, and no one, divine or not, has the right to tell them otherwise. As long as they aren't hurting anyone (that doesn't want to get hurt), of course.
