  1. Nevermind, apparently I already had the roms loaded... trying to load them again caused the OOM.
  2. Alright, so nothing in the changelog said anything about upping the memory allocation. So... I find it odd that when I try to load the Black rom, it gives me an OOM exception. Then, when I upped the allocation in the .ini file, it OOM's when running the game. What the heck is going on? I have 8GB of ram on my computer, so that can't possibly be the problem. Plus, the PTS ran perfectly fine for me. AND I loaded all three roms for the last PTS.
  3. As far as I'm aware, the topic of this thread is to discuss putting the shiny rate back to normal. Therefore, my post is completely on topic.
  4. And then there are people like me. The ones who have found two shinies but have none in their PC because the two encountered escaped. I say it should be possible to reset the rate individually. Keep the dynamic rate, but allow us to randomize our own rates. With a cooldown of course, probably 30 days. // This is a silent request to have a GM reset my rate lmao. I've encountered 200k pokemon since my last shiny and nothing. Zip, nil, nada.

  11. Late, but someone told me they're found on the floor where Articuno is normally found. And I found one a while afterwards. It was comp, too xD.
  12. Can someone tell me if there's a specific floor of Seafoam Islands where Jynx is found? I've been searching for hours and haven't found it.
  13. Yes, the topmost move will be shifted off in favor of the new move, which will appear at the bottom of the list. Mushrooms don't work for tutor moves. And Exp Share... it reduces the xp gain the more of them you use :P.
  14. Variation is good. Also, why wouldn't you want EXP in a Pokemon?
  15. These would be similar to Rare Candy, but instead of just +1 level, they would give a certain amount of EXP. Possible tiers: 1000, 2000, 5000, 7500, 10000, 25000, 50000 (this one might be too much). The higher the EXP gain, the harder they are to obtain. Also, not only does this make it balanced, but in some cases a Rare Candy would be better than a 25k EXP Candy. Could be drops out of Mystery Boxes or something.

  17. What I meant by that was the other way around. What if there aren't any Pokemon that you don't care about the moveset on?
  18. It does cost money. But it's better than sticking xp share on 3 pokes. Money is easy to get, lol.
  19. Yeah but... Daycare can level up more of your Pokemon at a time. Pokemon in daycare earn 60% of the xp you get in battles.
  20. Would be nice if there was a multi-use function for items. Like, use X amount of an item from your inventory on a Pokemon.
  21. It'd be cool if there was an item that, when held by a Pokemon in daycare, prevented moves from being naturally learned. The Amnesia Brace could serve this purpose, as well as its current use. Or some other new item.
  22. It would be nice if Pokedex entries showed the type(s) of the Pokemon in question. Possibly could go below the 'Play Cry' button in the interface.
  23. Just thought of another QoL idea; what if you could ctrl + click Pokemon from your party to the chat to link them? Would be nice instead of having to drag them.
  24. I think it would be cool to have a "Date and time you reached Level 100 on a Pokemon." This could go in the 'met' tab, above where the egg moves are displayed and below the Met at Lv # area. Would be a nice little challenge to yourself; i.e, see how fast you can level a Pokemon to 100.
