  1. Just gonna leave this here. SPOILER WARNING
  2. Porygon2 sounds pretty good because of Thunderbolt actually for those Skarmories. I will consider using it over Magneton. You have a good point about those. I wish I got the joke :(
  3. It's not like it can outspeed anything anyway. I would want to put Gyroball on it in the future though. Pin missile sounds good but it's kind of unreliable. I might just consider Toxic. HP fire sounds a bit situational, but I think it's good. 0 SpA Forretress Hidden Power Fire vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Forretress: 176-208 (49.7 - 58.7%) -- 67.2% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery Doesn't do much to Skarmory though. 0 SpA Forretress Hidden Power Fire vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Skarmory: 78-92 (23.3 - 27.5%) -- possible 5HKO after Leftovers recovery
  4. I'm gonna consider Forretress Which Pokemon do you think I should replace for Porygon2 though?

Will we be able to capture gen 4 Pokemon that aren't in B&W like Gible and Shinx?
  6. I'm going to try to enter the competitive OU scene with this team I just came up with. I picked these Pokemon based on their type synergies and abilities. What I know right now: This team is 3x weak to ground and fire type moves. These are the current threats that I know of right now: Milotic Blaziken Specs Slowbro Skarmory (Taunt) Metagross (AgiliGross) Arcanine (Physically Defensive) Magneton (Steel Trapper) Flygon (Revenge Killer) Slowbro (Bulky Special Sweeper) There are some Pokemon which I would like to fit into this team, but I'm not entirely sure how: Swampert (Defensive Pivot) Starmie (Offensive Sweeper) More suggestions would be gladly appreciated. Thank you for your time. I hope I can get some helpful information from you guys!
  7. Good thing Aku hasn't changed much.
  8. More JoJo Kekkai Sensen w/ a Pokemon parody
  9. http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-383628224 Should I still keep playing? The last turn was just plain brutal. Edit: http://play.pokemonshowdown.com/battle-ou-383631668 Last turn crits 2 times in a row. I still wonder why I'm still playing... Edit # 2: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-383634353 Look at turn 17. I'm cursed to not get past 1600.
  10. http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-378850067 This is what hax can do to a game. I don't feel like I deserve that win after rebuilding my team like that.
  11. Serene Grace flinch hax. Seriously. http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-373285623 It takes just the right amount of luck to avoid that 60% flinch chance when you play your second match with the same enemy ScarfRachi. http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-373291587
  12. Got a bit overconfident. I didn't even have Bullet punch on my MegaGross. Must be tilt I guess.
  13. I hate it when a move misses in late-game. DD Dragonite saved the game for me anyway in the end. http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-372411537
  14. 188 HP / 104 Def / 216 SpD Careful (+SP.DEF,-SP.ATK) You need that nature and SpD investment to be able to set up on special attacking threats. Why are you asking the recommended nature right after you've finished your breeding though?
  15. Changing some natures then: - Metagross is now Adamant - Gyarados is now Jolly. EQ is now replaced by Crunch to do some decent damage against enemy Ludicolos and Slowbros. Topic Update: These pokes are recently added to the OU tier: I will be considering replacing some of my mons/held items in my team to counter these new threats. Especially Snorlax.
  16. This sweeper set Heracross would be a good counter to Venusaur, unless it has HP Fire: 252+ SpA Venusaur Hidden Power Fire vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Heracross: 126-150 (41.8 - 49.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery Heracross is faster by 5 points than Venusaur. Just watch out for choice scarf variants (If there are any) By the way, remember that Heracross has a hard time staying in battle for too long. It's neither bulky or frail, but you still need to use caution. Heracross @ Leftovers Ability: Guts EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe Adamant Nature - Megahorn - Brick Break - Swords Dance - Rock Slide +2 252+ Atk Heracross Megahorn vs. 248 HP / 96+ Def Venusaur: 399-469 (109.9 - 129.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO
  17. It seems when there's an enemy Arcanine, one of my mons are bound to faint. I need something that can counter it. Anyone can advise me some replacement pokes if I chose a bit poorly. Feel free!
  18. EQ on Gyarados is for those pesky fast electric types. Any other suggestion to deal with Ludi tho? btw I still have a VERY long way to go to get into competitive. I'm just currently planning ahead of time. I'm still stuck in Hoenn's Victory Road tbh
  19. Wrong calc (edited). I would use Trick when I can predict when a wall will switch in against my Zam and then use sub to avoid status. Signal beam can be considered too though. But I also need some coverage against Calm Mind Dusclops: 252 SpA Choice Specs Alakazam Shadow Ball vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Dusclops: 214-254 (75.3 - 89.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery I fail to see any weaknesses on this team besides fire types. They can be easily dealt with Gyarados' Waterfall and Aerodactyl's Rock Slide. 252 Atk Life Orb Aerodactyl Rock Slide vs. 40 HP / 8 Def Houndoom: 471-556 (156.4 - 184.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO 252 Atk Life Orb Gyarados Waterfall vs. 40 HP / 8 Def Houndoom: 564-665 (187.3 - 220.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO 252 Atk Life Orb Aerodactyl Rock Slide vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Charizard: 676-801 (188.3 - 223.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO 252 Atk Life Orb Gyarados Waterfall vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Charizard: 408-484 (113.6 - 134.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO 252 Atk Life Orb Aerodactyl Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Blaziken: 328-387 (108.9 - 128.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO 252 Atk Life Orb Gyarados Waterfall vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Blaziken: 445-525 (147.8 - 174.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO Arcanine would be the only single fire type in this game (I think) to be able to survive 2 of my mon's super effective hits: 252 Atk Life Orb Gyarados Waterfall vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Arcanine: 276-328 (71.8 - 85.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery -1 252 Atk Life Orb Aerodactyl Rock Slide vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Arcanine: 151-182 (39.3 - 47.3%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery Arcanine's Intimidate would lower Gyarados' dd boost and would get it's attack back to normal after setting up. Intimidate also screws over Aerodactyl. Worst case scenario, it would have HP Electric: 0 SpA Arcanine Hidden Power Electric vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Gyarados: 176-208 (53.1 - 62.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO 0 SpA Arcanine Hidden Power Electric vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Aerodactyl: 110-130 (36.5 - 43.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO I need some more insights. It looks like I need to fill up some holes in my team.
  20. Just noticed that Slowbro would rip a new one in my team. I need shadow ball to 2hko a slowbro. 252 SpA Life Orb Alakazam Shadow Ball vs. 252 HP / 176 SpD Slowbro: 231-273 (58.6 - 69.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO EDIT: Wrong calc. This is the correct one: 252 SpA Choice Specs Alakazam Shadow Ball vs. 252 HP / 176 SpD Slowbro: 264-312 (67 - 79.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
  21. What kind of other coverage move would you recommend? The meta is really confusing for me tbh. I barely remember how resistances worked in the past for steels.
  22. Isn't it in NU/UU? I can't find any viable fighting types in this game except maybe Heracross. I'm having a bit of trouble trying to fit him a spot in this team tho.
  23. After chatting with people for a few days, I kind of knew that stalling was the most successful strategy in OU. Stalling ticks me off. No other Pokemon battle would be more time consuming than a battle against a staller. I'm more of a fan of fun, fast-paced hyper offensive gameplay. I used to play Pokemon Showdown in 2015. I'm more or less an average player because I take unorthodox risks. I mostly rely on aggressive luck as seen here in my early replays (I'm named Lag Squire): http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-249269099 Risky Smash-Pass strat with Conkeldurr: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-238191411 Me using idiotfrommars' Dragon Offense team. His team inspired me to play hyper offense: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-237338878 I made some mistakes in most of my plays due to some issues that involves lack of sleep while playing and shaky hands that cause me to misclick moves. We all make mistakes  And now, the team that I tried to plan while chatting with some of my teammates from Anunnaki (Huge credits to Anayese,QPrime and my other teammates for their team building advice in this MMO): This is the part where the professionals come in to help me out. I REALLY need some help to build an offensive team even though I am just finishing Hoenn. I made this topic of mine as detailed as possible to get the right kind of assistance I need. Thank you!
