Team Mr's Annual Secret Santa Event (v3.0) (This event is for in-game Team Mr members only) Back again for the 3rd year in a row - It's time to celebrate the holiday season by anonymously exchanging gifts with our fellow team members. This is a completely voluntary event and is for our in-game members only. Let's all spread some holiday joy! About the event: This event is essentially a random Secret Santa gift exchange, with a few twists. Every player who wants to can enter by sending a gift of 250k-3.5m in value to me via mail. As I receive each gift, the submission will be assigned a number and listed here, on forums (within a few days of me receiving them). On December 25th (Christmas Day) 2022, we will use a random number generator to redistribute the gifts to all who entered. Please feel free to send in bad or good gifts, depending on your own personal budget. The submission period to enter the event/gift exchange is from the time of this posting until 11:59:59 PM EST on December 24th, 2022. If you can give big, please do, and if you can only spare 250k, that's great too. The gifts will remain anonymous until they have been redistributed. The more players the merrier. This gives players with small budgets the opportunity to receive big presents, and vice versa. Please be sure to be thoughtful of your teammates, and only send in things that people would enjoy receiving, rather than a bunch of garbage (I reserve the right to deny a gift submission and ask that you submit something else). Listen, a LOT of players have hunted for over 100k encounters and counted each and every single encounter along the way (for me this has happened 3x). This is fairly normal. As other players in this thread have said, the game doesn't care at all if you're on your very first "shiny hunting" encounter, or your 10,000th encounter, each Pokemon you meet has the same odds of being shiny (with the exception of using donator / shiny charms). I would encourage you to try a sped up shiny hunting simulator such as this one to get a relative grasp on how RNG works as a whole. It is relatively common to go 3x over odds or higher. Also, don't pay any mind to the players you meet who use hours to complain, or those who say they've done 3 million encounters without any shinys, (although often they're the same people in my experience). Players can stand in vermilion for hours chatting with friends, playing PvP, or doing any number of non-shiny hunting activities. Even when shiny hunting 100%, everyone has their own speed (for example someone doing single encounters vs. someone doing hordes at max efficiency vs. someone distracted watching anime while doing hordes), so anyone using hours to complain about their shiny rate overall is not worth listening to as a new shiny hunter. Bumping this suggestion Now that the Bones Cap vanity has officially been added, it makes no sense to have 1 of the masks look 1 way and the other mask look a different way. Either both should be flat or both should have the nose bump (do we have noses or not? I'd like to think we do, personally). It would be nice to have the nose bump on the normal ninja mask as well, it looks 100% better and more realistic that way

Go in the right entrance from Hearthome (by the Gym). Enter the 1st house you see, walk in (up) 1 step then left 1 step and you'll be teleported to another area with another house. In that house you need to walk in (up) 1 step then walk right 1 step and you'll be at the wisp. I just did it ~2 mins ago

As of right now my calculations indicate a 100% chance for Pumpking Goodie Bags to have 3x will-o-wisp TMs (1/1), would not recommend opening

Also, regarding this rule that Pora already touched on: You might want to include in the rule that the battle log must have timestamps enabled (maybe with a screenshot showing players how to enable chat timestamps). The chat log timestamps are a specific setting in game that I've noticed a lot of players don't utilize. It would defeat the purpose if someone just submits a battle log that doesn't show the time on it

IVs and HAs being unlocked have no influence. I checked some of my shiny starters and theyre all 26 pearls, didnt matter if i showed the NPC one that was female 5x31 1x30 nature with its HA unlocked, or one that was 0x31 male no HA.

yeah, hes still on my friend list too. Banned characters don't get deleted. The guy hatched a shiny lapras in 2019 and got banned for RMT 2 days later. He came on after it happened from a new acct and talked with a few of us about it
