I don't even think I really have to say much of anything this month - this bulletin speaks for itself, what an insanely lucky month. Congrats to everyone who found these epic (Mr) rares (>>>), and thank you @cloo for making this bulletin.
Team Mr February 2024 OT Shiny Bulletin:

January 2024 was quite the kick off for a new year of Mr shinys. We had an crazy team shiny war - a battle of epic proportions between an angry mob of Fishermen and a vicious gang of Bug Catchers (with SirDusty vs xXFongusXx as each team's respective captains). We also saw the addition of Mysterious Pokeballs, and some members went broke (some even went broke multiple times) doing big gambas for the potential shinys within them. We managed to have FOUR different members tie for the position of Mr member who caught the most shinys that month - KevveKK, Shilana, WoomynNation & XRDZIIN - as far as I know that has never happened, and is unlikely to happen ever again. A whopping 133 Mr shinys were found in January - an amazing start to what will (hopefully) be an amazing year for the team! Team [Mr]'s Shiny War 6: Bug Catchers Vs. Fishermen is officially over!
Once again, our team is united, and no longer split in two. The Fishermen have brokered a peace treaty with the Bug Catchers after a long, grueling, intense, epic and exhausting battle. We smashed multiple team records this week, with a total number of shinys found in one day (24hr period) increased to 17 shinys. We also found 68 shinys in one week - that is insane! Massive thank you to @SirDusty and @Servor5555 (xXFongusXx) for being captains this war - it was both of their first times being captains, and we all saw them both motivating their respective teams so much throughout the week, and playing a huge role in keeping everyone focused - great work. Also thank you to @Martirino for updating the team's OT shiny Database, this is always an intense week for keeping that updated, but Marti has been on top of it. Also thank you to all the executives & commanders who pushed their teams and kept everything moving this week. Most of all, thank you to everyone who participated and made this an exciting and intense battle!

Team [Mr]'s Shiny War 6.0: Bug Catchers vs. Fishermen has officially begun, and our draft went down without a hitch. As usual, below is a recap of the Draft for anyone who couldn't be there in-game to watch it all play out.
I also want to give a HUGE thank you to @Patrouski2 for broadcasting the captains' voice chats to the rest of the team (along with his own commentary on the picks), helping us do the coin flip, and putting in the effort to make this video, so that we can watch it in the future as a reference to new members. Also, great job to this war's captains: @Servor5555 (xXFongusXx) and @SirDusty - I'm sure everyone appreciates how you made sure this draft went so smoothly and quickly. We were even able to start the war 1hr early since the draft went so well, despite having more members signed up (and more donations) than any previous war.

Team [Mr]'s Shiny War 6: Bug Catchers Vs. Fishermen
Sixth Edition of the legendary bi-annual [Mr] team shiny war Event
(This event is for in-game [Mr] Members only and NOT open to the general public)

Team [Mr] is hosting the 6th edition of our legendary bi-annual SHINY WAR event for all of our (in-game) team's shiny hunting members to join. This is a 1 week long, 2-team, group shiny race. Every player wishing to join can sign up and will be noted down and then drafted to 1 of 2 groups/teams on the day the event starts. Each shiny found during the week long event will gain points for that player's team, and at the end of the week, the team with the most points wins. Points per shiny will vary depending on how the shiny is found (single encounter, safari catch, 3x horde, 5x horde, egg hatch, etc.). We will be hosting a team draft for both teams starting 2 hours before the event starts to decide who goes on which team. The captains are going to be SirDusty and xXFongusXx. You may mail me in-game (IGN: awkways) or via Discord to sign up to participate - again, this event is for Team [Mr] in-game members only.

Point system:
45 Points - Legendary shiny
35 Points - Wild Caught Alpha shiny
20 Points - Egg Hatched Alpha Shiny (25 points during the final 24hrs of the event)
15 Points - Egged shiny
12 Points - Revived Fossil shiny
7 Points - Safari CAUGHT shiny (fled = 0 points)
6 Points - Single Encountered shiny
5 Points - Double Battle Encountered shiny
2 Points - 3x horde shiny
1 Point - 5x horde shiny
+1 Point if the pokemon is also a secret shiny (ex. secret shiny found in a single encounter: 7 points)
+1 Point if the pokemon is also new to the Mr Team Shiny Pokedex (ex. hatched shiny Turtwig: 16 points), Species List in Discord
10 Points (+the bounty rewards) for the first Wild Caught Shiny Sudowoodo or Bonsly found. Note: If someone egg hatches either shiny, this bonus is no longer available. This bonus does not stack with other encounter methods or bonuses, except for +1 if secret shiny.
Please Note:
Any shinys obtained via Mysterious balls (Mysterious Poke Balls, Great Balls, Ultra Balls & Premier Balls) will not count, and will score 0 points.
Bonus Point Days:
For four days during this war, bonus points will apply for each shiny caught in certain formats/types.
Note: The dates are only based off EST time (from 12:00AM EST until 11:59:59PM EST).The bonus days during this war and their corresponding boost formats are as follows:
-January 21st: Horde Bonus Day +1 Extra point for each shiny found via a Horde encounter (3x hordes = 3 points / 5x horde = 2 point)-January 23rd: Singles/Doubles Bonus day +1 Extra point for each shiny found via a Single OR double encounter , not including safari (Single = 7 Points / Double = 6 Points)
-January 25th: No Fail Safari Bonus Day +1 Extra point for each shiny CAUGHT in safari & 5 points for FLED safari shinys
-January 26th 1PM EST through January 27th 1PM EST (Last 24hrs of War): Alpha Egg Bonus Day +5 Extra points for each shiny alpha that was egg hatched (25 points each)
MVP Awards:
At the end of the event, the players (1 person from each team) who got the most shinys or the most points will be awarded a portion of the donation pool.
(This is primarily decided by the team captains)
How to Sign Up:
To sign up to be drafted to one of the teams & participate in war, please send me mail in-game or via Discord. If you mail me a prize pool donation please clarify if you are also signing up or only donating to the team event.
Event Rules:
--To sign up to enter this event please mail me (IGN: awkways) in game or via discord and you will be noted to be drafted to 1 of the 2 teams
--Only in-game team [Mr] Members may enter this event. This event is NOT open to the general public
--Players will meet at Sliph Co., channel 4 (channel subject to change last minute) on the 1st floor, near the tables to the right, at the draft time (12:00 PM EST on January 20th, 2024) if they are online and wish to participate (in the draft).
--You do not need to show up to the draft to participate in the event, as long as you sign up, you will be drafted to 1 of the 2 teams
--Players may sign up to join a team after the event begins if they wish to participate and will be assigned to whichever team has the least # of players at the time to keep the rosters balanced. If the teams are tied at the end of the draft, the player will join whichever team was not last to draft
--Team members may vote to kick inactive players from their shiny war team (captains have the power to veto this decision) even after the event has concluded
--Shinys that were caught before a player joins a team or after they have been kicked do not count towards that team's point total
--Any shinys found on bonus point days (see above), receive bonus points for their respective teams. Bonus days will be from 12:00AM - 11:59:59 PM, Based on EST time zone (except for the final day bonus, which will be 1:00PM EST on January 26th -> 1:00PM EST on January 27th)
--During the draft, team captains will pick from the list of hunters signed up to be added to their teams
--The event will officially start 1hr after the draft (at 1:00 PM EST on January 20th) and players will hunt all week to get as many shinys / points possible for their team
--Some time after the end of the event (at 1:00 PM EST on January 27th, 2024) prizes will be distributed EVENLY among the players of the winning team, along with the MVP prizes
--MVP Prizes will be awarded to 1 player per team who either got the most shinys or the most points (decided by their team's captain)
--Egg shinys must be a NEW SPECIES OT shiny for that person and bred from non-shiny parents
--Safari shinys must be caught to count (fled shiny = 0 points), EXCEPT on the Safari bonus day (January 25th, 2024)
--In the event of a TIE between both teams at the end of the event (1:00:00 PM EST on January 27th 2024), the event will go into SUDDEN DEATH, meaning the first team to score ANY points wins
--If team [Mr] is not your main account's team (if you have an alt with us) you cannot participate in this event
--Any player who joins the team between this posting and the event beginning must donate at least 500k to the prize pool in order to participate in this event, and cannot join after the event starts
--Any shiny obtained by Mysterious balls will not be valid entries will score 0 points.
--If a player encounters but fails to catch a non-safari shiny, it counts as 0 points.

I'm pretty sure there's a Patrouski video floating around somewhere on Youtube about this exact topic, but since you're asking for advice here, this is exactly right:

The most efficient way to egg hunt is to make all of your eggs during a shiny charm, and then hatch the eggs after the charm is over, since according to staff the shiny-ness is determined when you receive the egg from the daycare.
Personally I always end up talking too much in team chat while making eggs, so even with strings, I only end up making around 4 or 5 full boxes of eggs (so 240-300 eggs) max during a 1hr charm. I also know a lot of other people who minimize chat and then mega-fingerblast their keyboards during the 1hr, and they can get ~540 eggs done in a charm. Everyone's pacing/limit is different, and even something like your ping can have a major difference over a full hour of making eggs, so I'd recommend that you start with around 4 boxes (240 pokemon + 240 dittos/breeders), and see how much time you have left over, and then just keep adding +1 box of fossils until you've reached your limit.

Happy New Year, Team [Mr]!
As the year comes to a close, we just want to take a moment to say thank you to all of our incredible members who made 2023 so special. It feels like I say this every year, but it's abundantly clear that 2023 has been the most active our team has ever been in general. In terms of the total number of shinys found - in 2023 Team Mr members found 1,174 new shinys, which is more than double last year's total (558 shinys). As a team we came together to celebrate some memorable moments, like the historic release of the Johto region, two absolutely EPIC shiny wars, team bounties, Safari Week, and several in-game events like Halloween and this boosted shiny rate Christmas event. I can't wait to see what 2024 brings for us to experience together!

Team [Mr]'s Annual Secret Santa Event (v4.0):
(This event is for in-game Team Mr members only)
About the Event:
Happy holidays, team! As we have done for the past 3 years, we are going to be hosting a team Secret Santa event for the (in-game) players of team Mr for the 4th year in a row. This event is a little different than normal Secret Santa events, and is also (in a way) a bit like a lottery system. Each member wishing to participate can mail me a gift (or multiple gifts) worth a total value of anywhere from 250k minimum to 3.5m maximum to enter. As I receive each gift the mail is assigned a number, and on Christmas day (December 25th), I mix up the numbers and re-distribute the gifts accordingly back out to everyone who entered. The more in-game members that participate in this event, the more fun it is. I will list the gifts in the order I receive them on this post as the event progresses, but the sender of the gifts will remain anonymous. You can send any gifts you like (Shinys, Leppas, Vanities, etc.). Feel free to check out last year's list of gifts if you're looking for inspiration, but please be thoughtful of your teammates, try to send something that you believe any Mr would be happy to receive, and make sure you are only spending within your budget. The event starts now, and the deadline to enter (by submitting a gift) is December 25th, 2023 at 05:59:59 AM EST.
**Please remember to keep your gift / entry PRIVATE at least until everyone has their gift, and then feel free to tell each other what you gave / received**
How To participate:
To enter, send a gift or multiple (please not just boring cash), worth a total value between $250,000 - $3,500,000, to me (IGN: awkways) via in-game mail with the title "Secret Santa"
Rules/Event Info:
-To enter you must submit a gift (or gifts) worth a total estimated value of $250,000 at least, and $3,500,000 at most
-Gifts will be mailed to me (IGN: awkways) with the mail title as "Secret Santa" (otherwise I might keep them, ez money)
-You have to give a gift in order to enter and subsequently receive a gift in return
-Only in-game team Mr members can submit gifts and receive gifts
-Players who only have their alts in team Mr (aka if Mr is not your main team) must submit a gift worth AT LEAST roughly $1m (and maximum remains 3.5m) to participate in this event
-Your entry may have more than 1 item / Pokemon / cash, as long as the TOTAL VALUE is within the price range of 250k-3.5m
-If your gifts' total value is less than 250k or more than 3.5m, I will mail you everything back, and ask that you re-submit your entry
-The deadline to submit a gift is 05:59:59 AM EST on December 25th, 2023
-Submitted gifts will be listed here in the order that they are received, but the gift sender will remain anonymous
-I reserve the right to deny your gift as a valid entry, and request you submit a different gift entry instead
-Players cannot reveal what they donated until each gift is exchanged.
-Players may CHOOSE to reveal what they donated, and who wound up with their gift, if they wish, only after each gift has been distributed (on Christmas Day or later)
-Gifts will be sent out to each player via mail some time on December 25th, 2023 (EST)
-Players may not send anything directly to other members (in regards to this event, anyway, feel free to gift each other independently as much as you like)
-The random numbers assigned to each player (showing how we determined who gets what gift) will be revealed once the event is over
-If you join team [Mr] during the event sign-up/submission phase, you may not participate in this event, unless you are a returning/previous member of the team

November has been an interesting month for the team, and has been a bit slower than usual shiny-wise due to the Halloween event lasting about a half a month, but even with that being said, we made SIGNIFICANT progress on the team's shiny-dex, with 3 of the more difficult species now out added - Spiritomb, Emolga & Drilbur. As always, thanks to @cloo (clooh) for making the bulletin and @Servor5555 (xXFongusXx) for helping with the count. Proud of everyone, keep up the good work, and lets have a shiny upcoming holiday season!

Another month on the books - March 2024 - the month of the Rares. Although overall we got slightly less shinys than last month, the quality of shinys went up. We saw an explosion of hunters in the safari, thanks to @DannyWith6Ys posting the daily rotations, and poor @WoomyNation even lost an RNG gamble in safari with a fleeing Riolu encounter (he will reclaim though, trust 🙏). Congrats to everyone who killed it this month, and keep up the good work, team! Also as usual, thank you @cloo (Clooh) for making the bulletin with the help of @Servor5555 (xXFongusXx)!
