First thing, the devs intend the main story to be a tutorial for future pve content like the legendary dungeon. Second thing, no ai can get close to what a real player can do in pvp. I personally dont mind the level cap, but like the OP says, im an experinced player (even if i was new i would be an experienced player seeing as i played a lot of pokemon games and rom hacks) , and i can totally see the arguement that the cap is a little too hard for newer players that havent played the series to death. This is a good compromise between the devs and the people that just want it gone.

Yeah, though i did have another idea. I even made a thread for it. Basically, using an item found in the main series, Honey, you could have something that could be crafted with leppas and would be able to be used from the hotbar to sweet scent far easier and would bolster the crafting system since the devs are focusing on that.

It makes complete sense that you should just get some info from just encountering the pokemon, as it makes sense that a Pokemon Encyclopedia, would have that info. Just because you can use google for this simple stuff doesnt mean that this idea is immediately invalid. Like the OP said, there are people that have slower speeds, and cannot just open browser and google without taking minutes of thier time. Anyway, how about this. Do it ORAS dexnav style, instead of just get the all the info immediately on you first sighting of the pokemon, you get more and more info (like weight/height and ev yeild) as you encounter it more offen, and get all of it when you catch the pokemon. Like: First encounter- you learn the name and where to catch it Second encounter- you get the weight/height Fifth encounter- you get the ev yeild Catch- everything You could even add info like held items to the pokedex and have them unlocked at a certain encounter or when caught.

Yes seeing as the original poster felt to mention that Kanto's daycare is after the e4 as a way to make someone look stupid or the guy didnt know hoenn or unova got it early. Even then what is wrong with going to other regions before one region is done. Its a feature of pokemmo.

How about this, lets make a google form asking people about the various things that people dont like from the update, get as many people to fill it out, and see which side is most people is actually on, since people are agruing about other people assuming stuff. not in hoenn or unova so you do actually have the option to breed

I am offering a compromise to the people that have been asking for a way to hotkey sweet scent or want a sweet scent ocarina (in which kyu isnt keen on). The way i put it people will be able to use the item on the hotbar, it uses leppas to obtain so they still have the same demand, uses an item thats already in the main series that if its functions were just added would actually devalue leppas, and fleshes out the crafting system. I personally dont mind clicking a few extra times to use sweet scent or to buy leppas, but i thought id help the people that do mind.

I know, this is just a way to handle it when its usage is implimented.

There have been quite a few threads talking about people want to be able to hotkey sweet scent or have a sweet scent ocarina to basically fufill that same thing, being able to use sweet scent with one button press. " So my solution is to have a way to obtain honey in such a way that it dosent devalue leppas but allows people to have it on the hot bar for easy use. That way would be to have it be a craftable item that uses leppa berries, meaning that there will still be a need to farm leppas and possibly add some value to other items. I'm thinking 2 leppas plus some other item (maybe berry juice or something) would a good mount to craft honey. Now the only issue with this i can see is that combee have a chance to hold it and have an ability that allows them to pick up honey. If this idea were to be implemented, the chances that combees have or can pick up honey should be reduced (or removed if needed). Anyway, hopefully this is a good comprimise for people that want a sweet scent ocarina and the devs.

It's partially you guys (its mostly notmudkip0 and redspawn, but it seems your joining in, of being a uguu) fault seeing as you keep commenting on his thread with nothing constructive. Atleast if your gonna shit on a guys post, say something actually meaningful or constructive or, heres an idea, dont comment at all. hmm its almost like the game moving on from the older gens makes things from that gen obsolete. I do get your pain, i really do, but i doubt the devs are gonna add a HA pill when they have stated that they werent multiple times.

i would love atleast something to relieve the tedium.
