By,"Put too much work in it" u mean they will put lots of effort in making the good iv pkmn to be put in their gym team right? Well I meant this to be for those players who take hours trying to make perfect pokemon, those who would take time perfecting all kinds of pkmn, there r people have lots of pkmn with high ivs, they won't have a problem to let 4 of those 10 pkmn they're working on be rock types (in the case of brock's gym). So even if he loses his place his rock type pkmn was been put effort in not just for the gym but also for his own other battle uses. The battles will be automatic in the absence of the player, and players can only challenge that gym leader player at the certain date specified, in times other than that, the gym leaders will be npcs as usual, and even at the specified date they don't have to battle the gym leader player, it's their choice.

Ok guys, I have a suggestion. An idea came across me, that the game would be a lot better if it was more like a real pokemon world. By that I mean I think it would be better if players had the option to apply as gym leaders ,the elite four, and someone can actually be the pokemon master.(Don't forget that this means people can actually compete to be a pokemon master :D ). So I want there to be a certain system to make this possible, maybe if we do it the way it's claimed to be done in the show, even though I'm not sure how they do it in the show... Maybe if we make certain time intervals for the ones who defeated the say gymleader/elite/master to stay in their position until the time comes that people can challenge him/her to take his place. So their will be certain dates at which people are allowed to challenge the say gym leader/elite or master. It will probably be better if the time space between dates are longer for the master position than the elites, and for the elites than the gyms. So that's my idea! I hope everybody's interested. Comment and tell me your opinions and may be able to make the game much more awesome!
