My goal is to have fun, meet some cool people, and enjoy the game. It's fun to have an emulator that incorporates other people walking around. I've played through so many roms and actual games that it's nice to see a community of people coming together for the shared experience.

I would go directly into the tall grass and wait for Prof. Oak to come out and totally lose my shit.

I would be a tyrogue that evolves into hitmontop because it too is a midga-ninja. :P That, and spinning upsidedown just seems like loads of fun...all the breakdancing competitions would be mine to conquer bahaha

I look at the IV's and compare them to build my team in a way that makes sense to compensate not only for type weaknesses, but also IV strengths/weaknesses. However, I don't base my whole experience around training for EV's and natures. I try to keep a healthy balance of fun and calculated strategy. I think the nostalgia of playing it since childhood really drives my motivation to keep playing it, for sure.

I picked Bulbasaur because I've always gone with Squirtle and Charmander in the past. I wanted to give the lityle guy a shot, and he's so worth it. <3 mah little bulbasaur :D

Welcome! I'm new too, and have also been playing since I was about 8 years old and Red had just come out. Me and my gameboy pocket were best friends for awhile. I'm trying to get my bf to play as well. I totally geeked out when I discovered Pokemmo, and love the community. It's been awesome and I hope you have a good experience with it as well. :D
