I used to play with squirtle on the gameboy, and all i see in bulbasaur is a good hm slave with flash, cut, strength and rock smash. so i took charmander. Because charmander. in hoenn i chose treeko, but since i rushed through it, i never really trained it.

Just to get this straight, did you use your lvl 100 Linoone to pickup items in locations like Route 1 / Route 2 where other ppl just found normal Potions?

Afaik it is possible. If Nidoran♀ is the "mother", you might get Nidoran♂ or Nidoran♀, depending on which gender the egg has. Proof: someone in my team got a Nidoran♂ when breeding Nidoran♀ and a ♂ Mankey. Also: Wiki says so: Click me

I ask this, because I did some research on this topic when playing on an actual Emerald game on the GameBoyAdvance and there the level has influence of the item you may find.
