Does Light Screen and Reflect affect the whole party
or just the individual pokemon who used the move?
I'm wondering if these moves work the same way that
Safeguard works.

Need to correct you on how pick up works, you don't kill the pokemon. You faint them.
I don't do fainting, I kill.
Like repeatedly abusing them to the point of near-death and leaving them to lick their wounds
is a better image? Violence is violence no matter how you sugarcoat it.
Great job on putting this guide together Kaynine. The community will benefit.

so far i've used payday like 60 times and not gotten an item, when i use slash, i've gotten items. i'm thinking you can't 'pick-up' if you use payday.
I get a range of 1-4 items using Payday 20x in a row with a 90+ Meowth. What level is your Meowth?

Pickup works fine while surfing. What areas were you surfing? I've really only surfed the back area
of icefall cave where Lapras appears and the items there rock.

Videogames are my anti-drug... among other things.
They help me live a cleaner life, less dependent on my vices.
I would like to continue having fun. I have no end-game goal in mind. Every time
I get to the end-game content I get bored easily anyway. (WoW, Everquest, Runescape)
Eventually I'd like to compete, but i'm in no rush as I'm sure that i'll be crushed
the first dozen times.

A team of Meowth's capped off with a false swipe/spore smeargle juuuust in case you run into a shiny.
I would not be interested in buying high level Meowth, Persian, Smeargle for 100k. I
definitely think a fully ev trained, high level is worth that much... but I wouldn't spend my
money on it. I also think some people will haggle too much and depreciate the value of
the time and effort put into a high level poke... upsetting me in the process.

It was Everquest... then Runescape... then WoW.... then I went outside and was like AHHHHH THE SUNNNN!
A decade after taking a break from MMO's and here I am at Pokemmo.
Btw it is a very hard sell when you're telling your friends about this game... I'm like yea it's pokemon... ONLINE.
And they're like... dude I have to go to work and then pickup my son from daycare... and I'm like uhhhhh

Count me out. Work schedule this week prevented me from being fully trained.
I see maybe there is not enough people anyway... so i'll hold on to my safari
pokes if the tournament gets pushed back another week.

Keep berry merchant and raise berry prices while implementing berry farming... This will make a new "job" for those entrepreneurial players and give more options to the casual ones.

I like this idea... people will still have questions in Global, and there may still
be a necessity for having the channel around.

Wow it always amazes me that there are people from so many different
countries speaking English like it was no big thing. Makes me feel like a
dumb American.
I grew up in New York City. I got to spend my childhood getting iced cream
from Mr. Softee, going to Yankee stadium, and eating hot roasted nuts on
the streets of Manhattan. I've been to Madison Square Garden, and got to
fight at the famous Gleason's Boxing Gym in Brooklyn. I also watched as the
twin towers fell on 9/11 in person. From riding the Cyclone in Coney Island, to
riding the "A" train back to Queens... I am a New Yorker through and through.
Now I live in Jersey... it's a love/hate relationship. The pizza ain't too good.
Small towns in Poland??? Finland???? Venezuela??? That's crazy to me.
Edit: Oh I would like to visit Ireland. I hear it's beautiful. Also there is a town
in Moldova bearing my surname. I might check that place out at some
point.

You need 4 badges in the Kanto region to use the ferry...
but be warned... you won't be able to use the ferry in Hoenn
until you've gathered 4 badges in Hoenn as well. So you'll go to Hoenn..
but won't be able to get back to Kanto immediately

That's not nearly the worst that I've seen to date...
Also can I just add that I love the Spanish speaking players. If you took
Spanish in school, you can easily make a few 100k from them per day.

I love that Pickup has been implemented. Finding what can be
picked up in each area is super fun.
Can we have an option for Pickup to have a sound/bell/alert
when your pokemon picks up an item?
Edit: A message alert would do as well. But I would still like
the option for a sound. I frequently play this game while
dozing off and a sound alert would catch my attention
way better.

LOL. I know some kids from my childhood that would've liked to have a Mod/GM present during our card trading sessions... Cause they got rippppped.
But they learned a valuable lesson, about life and the predatory nature of people. So who's got a shiny I can poach?!

Wow you put a lot of work into this. I hope your idea
isn't torn apart... as most are.
People are gonna be all like... nah no good.
Then somebodies gonna be like... ehh maybe.
Then the idea will have been forgotten.
My take on this? It's a videogame. I want it to be difficult. I want it to
be time-consuming. I want the game to be hard so I know when I get
to the competitive level... I will be competing among the elite.
I've not had a hard time making money. I think all the people who complain
about that have a hard time saving money. I think that 99% of the stuff
in-game is appropriately priced. Pokemon breeding is also appropriately
priced in my opinion. It is not too expensive, but expensive enough to the
point where I will not waste pokemon, braces, or time on crap breeds...
and feel fulfilled when you finally get that perfect breed you were working
towards.
Thank you for taking the time and effort to try to provide a solution
to what you view as a problem.

Idk... I don't have any shinies and I don't expect to with less than 200 hrs.
I also really don't care about the shiny rate. All you've gotta tell ME is that
there IS a chance to run into a shiny. You can't control the rate, and the
difference between 1/8192 and 1/6000 or 1/4000 could be an hour or a
lifetime. It's still just a random roll of the dice every time. I was perfectly
happy playing Red/Blue where shinies didn't exist, so all of this stuff nowadays
is just icing on the cake.

Whats the deal with trick? It doesn't actually switch the items between you
and the wild pokemon... it just tells you that the pokemon IS holding something.
Does anyone know if this is a bug, if it's not been implemented?
