Another idea I'd have would be to actually have to "confirm" the Pokémon evolution instead of it evolving automatically at the end of the fight. It would be less hard to implement, and also more convenient. And of course, in the case you really don't want your Pokémon to evolve, Everstones still are your best friends. ~
