Here are my two cents about the topic, I like an over saturation of dittos in the market. As a person who gets into economics, I look to the Free Market and if there is a higher supply, then that means that people are going to have to seriously price check their product. If I can, I would like to tell you a real world experience that I had. On the GameCube, there is a game called "Pokemon Box: Ruby and Sapphire" and it was only distributed through New York's Pokemon Center (now its Nintendo World), so when I was looking for it on Amazon, I had to fork over about $160 for it. As a consumer, I want more dittos out there so that way I can pay less for a good one. I can also speak on the other side as producer as well. I want to sell some middle of the road pokemon, but the market won't let me get away with it, so I slice my original price in half or I wait until everyone bought the lower priced products and then I price my products up. Unfortunately, some of the people above me are correct on the fact that there isn't an over saturation of dittos. As a consumer, I wish people can sell more good dittos, so that way ditto's price can go down. Back to my Amazon example, if Nintendo would of released "Pokemon Box: Ruby and Sapphire" without the need to stop by New York's Pokemon Center, the price for me would of been approximately $30 - $50 (maybe even lower).
