I don't know if the devs would ever consider it but its not that simple because the player who designed the vanity item would have to upload it to the server and all other players have to update for them to be able to see those items on the one who are using them. that's what i think at least

It looks pretty neat now :) good job. you still have to fix that "Blisseys have a 5% encounter" though, and it would be very good to mention some common examples of E4 sweepers like Starmie which will make it easier to go through them. Best wishes & keep up the good work :)

Again with the easy, selfish thing .. I have had it. enjoy your hard-worked tedious grind breeding .. along with a couple of aspirins and some nice long movie to watch.

I would really love to play on the PTS rather than this update but still love the old breeding system more than the PTS :) breeding itself was more fun to me than 100x times just spawning pokes .. but spawning allow us to test movesets/pokes more faster and better than having to breed anything. The comps as they mean "a good comp is about 25+ all stats and 31 speed" has grown in its value since nobody before the update wanted this while he could just get 3x31 and average stats with less than the comp now "mainly 100-200k" but overall the prices went up and anything beyond 500k we have to spend weeks to sell it "namely the 4x to 6x" so what went up was : 1- wild catches alot from 0 value to maybe 300k in lucky cases like 3x31 or 1x31 with average appove 25+ 2- average to good comp from 0-30k to 200-300k 3- 1x from 0 to ~20k 4- 2x from 20k to ~150k 5- 3x from ~80-100k to 200-350k all beyond that is like hell to sell if it got ever sold out. as for ppl breeding for them selves rather than buying its because the prices went skyrocketing and to have multi pokes you have to have a fortune.

I think maybe me and you live in a 2 totally different worlds to be honest :) i don't see any problem solved at least not from my point of view for the many reasons i stated in 'Opinions on new breeding' thread regarding the current state of the economy but you could add to that the new system made a whole lot more problem than it solved "too much grinding, TM needs fresh source, barrier to the comp scene, more of solo-play rather than MMO play, and so on" and many other things, yes you did manage to find a solution to some like TMs in the market for the next update .. but still it made a lot more problems than what it should be solving but didn't

So it turns out to show the real reason behind all this XD would have appreciated if you said so from the begging. although you had it all wrong because like WOW and other staging games the maps serve its purpose for each stage as the story line goes and only specific maps continue to be useful at the end-game for dungeons & raids (which have been the same here for ev training and shiny hunt) but at least now i know why you were so fixated about brining CatchMMO again. Why do you guys care so much about wild encountering ? why is it have to be wild not bred ? wasn't it enough for ev training and shiny hunting ? anyway again you call it madness i call it fun .. you call this bullshit tedious grinding fun i call it absolutely madness .. so again let's just wait and see

Its not like breeding or cloning since they will be a wild catch also the same as the original ones .. the idea is just to hinder the unwanted species from encounters and buff those species a little more than they are in their area. but the idea for sure will have a huge effect on species rarity.

Maybe because stating why it is better in most cases means you favour it over the old one then goes on some threads stating that maybe devs should reconsider bringing the old one back. so going back and forth made me wonder which group are you going with XD then you made this obviously "against" thread

I like the idea and can use it in another way like the fishing contests in the anime .. the player catch a cretin amount/specific nature/species and hand it to NPC and get a cretin prize/item as a PVE automated event or something like that. +1 for your idea though

LOL .. i can't tell if you are joking or not XD if not then this is one of your biggest "against" new breeding system you have ever made XD so my guessing is that the next one will be the complete opposite to this but for the time being i completely agree with this XD

That goes against the laziness part as you mention we had to grind "eggs" to get better ones but on the contrary to the current system we always start from where we left .. not all the way up again like it is now. either way as i stated before all this talk now is meaningless cuz i will never have fun in the current system and you will never be convinced about the old system .. even more DS made it clear they have no intention of bringing it back .. so we all just have to wait and see what's coming and how would it turn out to be.

Give him a break, so he made some mistakes so what ? a constructive feedback would be much better than this wall of criticizing. he made it clear its his first try in writing a guide so show some appreciation or don't bother commenting at all. anyway its a good start specially for newbies who doesn't know about lucky egg, how exp. share works and how to make a good use of a high levelled pokemon in-order to level a lower level one. but as OldKeith said the percentage is a little off and you should make a use of the daycares since they can hold up to 3 pokes in kanto and 2 pokes in hoenn and they all get 60% each of the experience you gain through battles (each daycare are only active while you are in its region only) keep it up :)

nobody was getting 5x and 6x everyday since there where 3 random ivs with -8,+3 so it wasn't that common as you guys say. and i never said i was a good breeder i have never even had my own 5x31 .. had many 2x & 3x though since my breeders was only 4x31-1x30. if you still curious though i could post it later if you want.
