The market for comps is bad because people actually have to put effort into making them. Theyre so expensive because not only is it time consuming, but to make something godly it costs a decent amount unless you are lucky and have breeders already or get a very lucky wild catch. The staff response is "you dont need 6x31's to be competitive" but when the standard for the longest time was "31 in stats that matter and 25+ in the rest" I mean what do you expect to happen. Personally I like how breeding works, I think that it accomplished what it was meant to in terms of being rewarding for those that actually try it, but it ruined the market for comps.
A lot of money goes into the making of them and it cost even more to buy off of other people so my biggest complaint would be that we don't have enough money come into the economy for player to player transactions. Its cheaper to make them yourself which is great, but I thought the point of an MMO was the player to player interaction and this system discourages that aspect of the game a bit.
