  1. I have seen many people ask what is best for this pokemon or what movesets to use for that pokemon. I also know how IVs and EVs work, however I would like something that would help in figuring out what IVs to raise and what moves to learn. I am looking for something that lets you enter a Pokemon's Name, Nature and EVs then it would show best IV spread and moveset for that pokemon. If anyone could point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate the help.
  2. I know what they are and how they are gained. I also know to gain 1 stat point you need EVs to be a multiple of 4 (which is why 252 is to be the Max EVs you should give to a stat as anymore will be wasted). This is the part that many EV training guides don't provide. I know there are different types of Pokemon like a Sweeper (like Pikachu), Tanker (or Bulky) or Power Hitter among others. I also know each Pokemon can provide many roles, however I am not one of those that know what each role a Pokemon can provide or what is best nature, EV spread or moveset for that role. Heck, I don't even know what role I want for my Pokemon but I want to be prepared for when I decide how to format my teams for such roles.
  3. I have seen many guides that explain what EVs are and where to gain these EVs. However, all the guides seem to be this way yet they don't explain how to plan out what EVs you should get. Anyone know of somewhere that explains this so that I can start EV training without asking others what EV stats I should raise?
  4. Wow, I failed. I used the wrong name for Discord .... Let me edit my original post. Well, since no one is stopping us from making it, I will make the chat.
  5. I noticed there is a TeamSpeak channel for PokeMMO. However, I want to know if there can be a Discord channel as I and I believe others aren't a fan of TeamSpeak. With permission from PokeMMO Staff, I can create the channel unless a staff member wants to create the channel.
  6. Hi all fellow Pokemon Trainers! I have been a member since April 6th of last year after wanting to see a Pokemon game that had several regions in one besides just Kanto and Johto regions. So far it has gone great and can't wait to see how far this game goes.
  7. I asked this in-game and was told it wasn't a Swarm. This was when I added it here. Guess I asked the wrong people.
  8. Found a Hoothoot on Route 2 at Night in Kanto Region. Here is a picture as proof:
  9. Okay, I have played many of the Pokemon Games released to date. I haven't played Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver or the current generation games yet. Now I have an idea what Pokemon I want in my teams, just not very sure the movesets for them all. As for the teams themselves, I do want to be a little different in my approach. I know you can travel to the Hoenn Region before Elite Four, but I don't want to head there till after that part of the game. So I would need two lists, one that features only Pokemon that can be captured in Kanto Region. The second list would be where Pokemon get replaced with better options from the Hoenn region. From what I remember from my FireRed Team, I had these Pokemon (can't remember move sets so will use what I found online): Charizard - Fire Blast/Flamethrower - Earthquake - Aerial Ace/Wing Attack - Dragon Claw Raichu Pigeot Gengar I can't remember what the last two Pokemon were or the move sets for Raichu, Pigeot or Gengar. Also if there is a certain IV/EV stat range I should try to achieve, I can work in doing so. Here is current information on Pokemon I have from list: Charmander: Nature: Gentle EVs: HP: 0, Attack: 0, Defense: 1, Sp. Attk: 0, Sp. Def: 0, Speed: 7 IVs: HP: 10 - 21, Attack: 0 - 8, Defense: 27 - 31, Sp. Atk: 5 - 17, Sp. Def: 13 - 24, Speed: 0 - 6 Pidgey: Nature: Adamant EVs: HP: 0, Attack: 0, Defense: 0, Sp. Attk: 0, Sp. Def: 0, Speed: 1 IVs: HP: 0 - 19, Attack: 10 - 31, Defense: 20 - 31, Sp. Atk: 0 - 29, Sp. Def: 0 - 29, Speed: 0 - 21 Thanks for all the help in advance.
  10. I don't understand why people still use MotioninJoy or other programs when there is a better way. This is called SCP DS3 and it doesn't require any other program to use it. No more need for Xpadder, Joy2Key or any other controller mapping program (Note: These are needed if the game you play doesn't have controller support). To get this to work, just go to this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TpSaOJJIun8 and follow the instructions provided. It works great and I use it for all my video game needs.
