as far as i know, they dont delete characters very often. The last time they did it was around the time hoenn came out? And they only did it to accounts that hadnt logged in in like a year, had no OT shinies, and maybe <1k hrs playtime? This is off the top of my head cause it was a long time ago and i didnt really read it to remember it. Ive been absent from the game for about a year on at least two occasions and i can still get in, so i think youre good. Furthermore, im expecting platinum any day now.

Gengar is one of the most versatile pokemon, so if i were you i would build it around what the rest of my team lacks. best nature is probably timid followed by modest lots and lots of moves to choose from: damaging moves like shadowball, sludge bomb, giga drain, thunderbolt, focus blast status moves like substitute, disable, willowisp, toxic, protect, even perish song i know this is vague but i hope it helps

I really dont understand how you still dont get it after it being explained to you 4 times very patiently. If someone can obtain a legendary easily, that makes it not special, and there are plans to make them obtainable in a special way eventually.

EVs and IVs exist in RBY, you just can't see them. EV training is a lot faster than it used to be now that we have hordes. I can train 10 pokes in all 6 stats in 2 days. Natures are a big part of determining a pokemons purpose or particular affinity compared to others of it species, like EVs and IVs. If we got rid of those, why not get rid of every species of Pokemon except one? The variety is what makes it good. I do think it would be cool if 2 parents who had the same nature could make a baby with that nature without an everstone, like IV passing, but thats all i think should be changed. Egg moves are a big part of making the pokemon experience immersive, making you feel like youre living in a pokemon world. You can only get, say, Spikes on Roselia, if you breed it with Cacnea who can learn that move. There's no reason Roselia by itself should be able to set out spikes. Z Moves arent in this game Battling is the endgame, that is, you do everything else in the game to prepare for it. If you could battle with people who have been playing for a long time, immediately, it would be no fun and there would be no reason to play for a long time. Its more rewarding to battle with pokemon you have bred with egg moves and good IVs and nature, and trained their EVs. Ive spent like 10 minutes typing this when i could have been EVing 3 pokes at once. Sayonara

[Apparently i cant have a banner cause yall dont read this thread often enough] The purpose here is to help players decide exactly what EVs they want on their pokemon, not where to EV them. Hopefully you'll be able to shave a few unnecessary EVs off of some stats so you can put them in others, and wind up with a stronger Pokemon. I decided to make this guide because there are a few mechanics that even seasoned veterans seem to overlook. All calculations etc consider a lvl 50 metagame ("comp") only, not counting Little Cup. Use this to confirm what your stats will be before you actually train your hard-earned breeds. Speed IVs: odds & evens bonus w natures damage calcs: Super Ultra Mega Expert Mode Stealth rocks and other effects - Maybe dont max out HP
