1. as Toupi said, just think of the parents being released into the wild As an alternative, I digged out this suggestion for you to fit the crafting/breeding into the lore and still maintaining the current system :)
2. I would still like to see this happening for genderless "breeding", by combining two genderless Pokémon with the help of Bill and thus applying the same principle of our breeding mechanics to only male or genderless Pokémon as well. I believe breeding those does not need to be made more difficult than breeding other species. Since this suggestion was made, more "safety checks" were implemented to ensure players are aware that they are sacrificing the two parents. I left the original suggestion unchanged, but I believe " the changed place for pokémon recreation is also a safety net for less attentive players who aren't aware of the new breeding and risk to involuntarily loose two pokémon in daycare when they want to collect their next egg " is no longer as important, as it has been taken care of. Thanks for that.
3. Just to clean this section up: This suggestion may be closed/trashed/[denied] The event this was targeted at (unfortunately) ended with the PvP updates and if a team list/direct whisper option would be added ingame, it might possibly be done otherwise. Thanks
4. I am careful to confirm that, as the standards for comps are high and the terms "comp" or "semi-comp" seem to be slightly overused for (selling) shinies. I may say, that if it did not turned out shiny, I would bred it again, but then again, I tend to exaggerate when breeding comps. It is good enough to be used in a tourney (even if it is only once due to the easier scouting...) I also have to continue the story of the "Bearuminati" here I caught a shiny Spearow as the last member of a horde and told my teammates about it.

Appearently, by doing so, I passed on the "virus" to a member of our team, as one set out to catch a shiny Pikachu, and did so less than one hour later

So, you now need to get infected by him I believe ... or how else does this work bearminator? :3
5. I may reconfirm. You need to read the post above and enter the game afterwards. This seems to be extremely contagious...

6. @Eggplant: Many thanks for organizing this event. We do our best to make it great for everyone. @Linken: Kudos to this smart product placement - but probably the beer just looks tastiest at our pub ^^
7. I knew it Little sad about the little quarrel we currently experience, but thats probably just out of excitement before things really start I can't wait to enter PvP with my newly discovered prediction abilities  Also a suggestion: Rules for challenging ones team gym might not involve any of the other gyms in any way.
8. inb4: all 8 teams descide that a challenger must have already acquired 7 badges to challenge them - since it would be the best way to control the inflow of challengers :)
9. I really had the PokéMMO Pilgrimage in mind when this idea came up, but maybe there are cases I did not think of where (newer) players don't use the forum (maybe because they want to enter a team that communicates over other means or maybe the don't use the official forum because they are less adept in english as it isn't their 1st language). I have no overview how many nearly similar Teamtags are in use (for example, are there tags like [GODS], [GØDS] or [GÓDS] all in use for different teams?) - but maybe a small tolerance could be added to the whisper command in this case, to recognize different typings (especially for cases where you lag the required characters on your keyboard). "/w [Teamname]" as a n option in addition to the tag could also be added Generally, a list ingame (with search function) of the teams that exist including teamname/tag/currently active members/total members/teamchat language/... where you could also click on a teamname to whisper that team wold be nice (although even more to ask) Delegate. As stated in the first post, teams should get the option to assign the person receiving the messages themselves - you could use this according to being afk/in a torunament/... The use of "[ ]" should distinguish between the intention to whisper a player and the intention to whisper a team
10. I believe it would be very beneficial, if a new command "/w [Teamtag]" could be added, allowing me to whisper a team I chose. My whisper message should be directly forwarded to the highest ranking member of that team that is currently online - if none is available (none in this case could mean none above the rank of "Member") I would get the message: "Team ... could not be found". - the team could also establish a priority list ingame whom a message would reach first, second (if the 1st person is offline,...) The option "whisper Team ..." could also be added when rightclicking on the sprite of someone ingame (in addition to the option to whisper that person directly). This idea came up to make it easier to challenge any team that participates in the PokeMMO Pilgrimage for one of the badgges, but could be very beneficial beyond this specific event.
11. I support this idea, while I believe the information on sold items and which prices they went for should be accumulated (instead of showing each and every item individually, and at what time it went for which price - would be an overflow in my opinion) In addition to what DS said, I envision it could be achieved with a (not to complex) price chart for the respective item, like this: Hovering over the chart could show the exact average price an item was sold at a given time. Information, about how many items were sold could be beneficial - as people might start farming the rarer items and in the long run we as a playerbase might profit from a reliable supply on all needed items at reasonable prices while allowing us at the same time to seize market opportunities (being optimistic here :3 )
12. I'll try to be there for support Really like the location Already looking forward to your future tournaments and their names :)
13. If it is on the 18th at 10pm in EST It would actually be on the 19th, 3 am in GMT, right? Maybe give two different versions of date, day & time (instead of only for the time) to prevent me from getting confused :3 Thanks for hosting

SHINY RATE

If we had a static encounter rate, a higher number of encounters would result in a lower chance to run into no shiny at all. I understand "time doesn't matter, encounters do" like "you can't hope to run into a shiny while being afk instead of encountering pkmn" and thats of course true. But also take into consideration, that "how new you are" was one of the few aspects mentioned by Kyu, that influence the dynamic shiny rate that we have. So time does matter. Am at my mobile but could dig up the reference post from the trashed thread if needed later - unless someone links it faster ;)
15. Suggestion: Introduce an item which all move tutors will accept as payment for teaching one move. A player could obtain these 'TutorTickets/-Vouchers' by exchanging certain items (e.g. the items currently used to pay specific tutors) at a designated exchange spot. Reason: Getting a specific item for a specific move does not need to be as tedious as it is right now. Why grinding for moves ruins the competitive game Way of implementation: All regular move tutors will ask for 'TutorTickets' in order to teach a move to a pokémon of the players. At the exchange spot at the Battle Tower (Kanto) or Battle Frontier (Hoenn) the player can obtain these tickets by selling certain items at a fixed exchange rate (e.g. 1 Silk Skarf=1 Ticket, 1 Stick= 1 Ticket, 1 Black Belt=1 Ticket, 5 Hard Rock=1 Ticket,...). Benefits: a item based payment system for the tutors would still be in place (instead of the 20k$ before) shorter time investment (farming at a certain area or time trading for a specific item) to get a certain move as the needed item to pay the tutor is less specific people are free to chose which item they'd like to grind for (according to their current preferences / areas they plan to farm in) all tutor moves are equally difficult/easy to obtain the system remains flexible: certain items can be added or removed from this exchange system if the developers feel the need to do so (add shard tutors to this system with appropriate exchange rates; remove items from the system if they are needed for an other feature/purpose [like everstones to get a nature, shards to get elemental stones instead,... anything devs could think of in the future] 'TutorTickets' would trade well in the market ________________________________________________________________________________ Supplements: I don't see any issues of TutorTickets' that may develop into an alternative currency, as there is a major drain from the start (possibly similar to the current status of Everstones) hard stones should be added to this exchange system and be removed from the needed payment to change IVs ________________________________________________________________________________ Thanks for any suggestions to refine the overall concept.
16. After the (soon to be) updated trade system, these screens will hopefully be not more than a grim reminder of what we had to deal with random person whispering out of nowhere

17. I have been absent quite some time - this happened before the breeding update: that Spinda was male - a new approach for breeding Tauros q&a kids trading away their future :'(
18. Since the update I have more money, as I constantly overcompensate the cash lost on breeding with the respective methods that seem to yield the most money. The current method would be - in my opinion - a VS-Seeker tour through the Sevii Islands. It seems a considerable amount of players do that tour very regularly thus acqire to pay for newly bred comps theoretically. I personally believe the difficulties to find buyers that are willing to buy comps for their actual worth (including a charge for the work the breeder had) is less because of people not being able to pay but being reluctant to pay. While a breeder might have settled for a (possibly too) low price before the update, he will not now, as he know what the bred pokémon has cost him/her and is also able to better quantify the actual value of the comp, justifying the price towards the buyer. With prices not being met and other, more profitably ways to make money right now instead of selling comps that were bred from scratch I would believe that far less trades in this category happen now, after the update. The ability to completely control the outcome might also have motivated people who previously relied on trades to obtain comps to breed (more of) their comps by themselves now. However, the 'price' for not spending more money on breeding than I am able to gain by other means results in a very slow pace of breeding new comps
19. https://forums.pokemmo.eu/index.php?/topic/51497-sneasels-fake-out-deleted-is-bug-or-intention/ I don't think this matter needs more than one topic...
20. Since the breeding update, I was able to finish two breeding projects; both from scratch The Vibrava has a Jolly nature. Timid nature for Kirlia
21. This - among your other, well-founded statements - convinced me the most. If the new breeding weren't - in my opinion - so easy to handly if done with a little planning, I'll probably ask you for help... As stated earlier, you can always get that money back, if you choose to sell the pokémon you bred. You aren't getting poorer, you "just" have less cash for a moment, while you choose to invest it into a competitive pokémon.

23. Don't give up - I think there is still hope :3 Some just need a bit more time to adapt to it. I acknowledge that breeding - generally - might not be suited for everybody. But those can continue to buy their pokémon from breeders, as they have done before. Just not below the actual value of the pokémon anymore... Your money is not "lost", you just added the value to the pokémon you bred. If you would sell it to an other player, you would get that money back and - if you don't sell too low - also money for your effort. An example: I recently bred a Jolly natured, 5*31 trapinch from scratch. Later on, due to an auction of Kyokatsu - who sold a very similar Flygon - I was able to witness that the current market price for it was 1.5m (last offer I saw). So all the money (grind/time, braces, everstones) I invested is currently "bound" to the pokémon I bred, but I could convert it back into cash, if I chose to sell it. There is no reason to train EVs on a pkmn that you plan to use for breeding. Man, why are you still that unsatisfied - with fallen prices for braces (though many of us have anticipated that), gender selection and higher trainer payouts? Furthermore, many other players have made an effort to ease breeding for new players, most notably Gilan with his very useful breeding guide or also DaBeardedLady by pointing out what a fortune one could make with trainer battles. I have one simple question for you: May you tell me, what you have bred so far and how it was going / where the main difficulties were? Thanks in advance.
