I dont pvp at all so you will find me breeding or shiny hunting. I love pokemon and pokemmo is my escape from my boring life of work and mountain dew. Why is this not a thing?

5 ot shinys but nothing in the past year. on average i spend 2 hours a day 7 days a week shiny hunting. some times im on for like 6 hours straight just running in grass. Then you get someone who hasnt logged more then 2 hours and got a shiny charizard.

4180 hrs playing this thing. I want my time back >.<

The breeding system is genius. The best thing they have implemented. 6X31 is now easy to achieve. And a perfect nature 5x31 even easier then that. Sure you lose 2 breeders in the process but hey think about the decent offspring. Also as many people have said its an mmo there should be a split between seasoned players and newbies. I made 4 6x31 pokes yesterday from pokes I brought off trade chat lol before the update I only made 1 after 4100+ hours!

I think we should have had a wipe with this new update to be honest.

Give it a few weeks fter the update and that might double or something ridiculous like that :p

Shiny ditto was expenseive before the update imagine how much after. People probs won't wanna sell one after the update emerges. And. And who in their right minds would waste a ditto on a shiny not worth as much as the ditto its self?

There wouldn't need to be a shiny sink if they just wiped the server right?

Volt tackle is a gamechanger for pika based comp. I would love this move :)

Ok ill do pros and cons of a server wipe Pros: Everyone will have a fresh start and no op poke made by the old breeding system Luckyeggs will become worth something again. It will give everyone who's became bored and or quit a reason to play again. Devs/staff won't need to come up with more ideas to try and fix the dying economy. ill get to enjoy the moans and groans of people because of it. Cons We will lose all our hard work. 4172 hrs of gameplay gone, multiple comps breeders. And 5 ot shinys :( Certain people will be so butthurt they will quit. Pros far out weigh the cons and you cannot deny this!

First good idea I have heard all day. If that was to happen imagine how many people would choose the fresh one over the original due to the split in rich and poor.

The thing is its not "noobs" demanding a wipe. Its seasoned players. And check out the newest update to the breeding lol you still have the same feelings?

I think that this new breeding system is a good enough reason to wipe the server. They did it when the currency was added so why not now? Its not like its a small update either.

If there wasn't a server wipe then it don't bother me as ill have a advantage over many. Im just seeing it from a newcomers point of view.

The breeding system is completely changing. Without a server wipe people with $$ and breeders and comps acquired from the old breeding system will have a massive advantage over less wealthy people and newcomers. This will create a split between the wealthy and poor. It could make the game unfair. But only time will tell.
