  1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9iZxslff1og just wanted to show my submission again since the other thread cant be seen
  2. i disagree. not only is it a suggestion, but it also brings awareness that trading needs to change especially since we now know we are unable to fly to inter-region
  3. just gots the pretty chair today. too bad plants are unavailable :(
  4. i guess that would make it the only special move for fighting as well as dark according to your list. strange how dark was all special, and now its all physical (excluding hidden power)
  5. maybe enlarge the pictures, and maybe designate which path leads to which area
  6. Oh good point too; some devs are players as well.
  7. I don't think this is just for the devs to see, but also for the players to see.
  8. Or just tell me them here assuming you haven't sold, leveled, or changed its EVs.
  9. Can I see its stats? I feel like for its HP and the other stats, except attack and speed, will end up being unable to confirm. I'm currently trying to develop an equation to know when confirming won't work.
  10. That's great to hear that is this method is not useless lol. Sweet, I'll add the calculator into the advices list. Can you show how to confirm other IVs like the Bagon's Defence or Sp. Attack?
  11. Yes! You're the first person to tell me it has worked other than myself and getting my friends to try the equations. This is really great news. I appreciate you for commenting lol. Did you just read the rules/advices, or did you use the negative EV example, or both for knowing what to do with a negative answer? I'm curious to know what your situation was.
  12. That seems to work as well, but we would need to input the next stat which more experienced player could predict that. However, players in general can simply use what stats their Pokemon has now, and input it into the equations to find their confirming floor. I just added to the advices list. Or I could've just used 1 decreasing EV berry, even less less work lol. Oh I removed that part, but what I meant was that it's easier to level to those levels than leveling to 50+ levels just to confirm.
  13. I agree with you that it's not the only possible way. However, the equations take into account what the Pokemon's current floor EV is because of its current stat. If the Eevee has an EV close above 44, it'll identify 44, same thing with 28, and 12 because they're the Pokemon's confirming floor to the EV the eevee currently has. The equations can't identify all confirming floors with just 1 stat. You may assume that I'm new. (Well, I'm kinda new to PokeMMO since I just started playing about 2 months ago, but) I've known about IV and EV ever since Pokemon Emerald. I remember I used to use pen and paper to tally how much EVs I had for each of my Pokemon. I also remember using online IV calculators. But this game can do that for us. Now however, players look for Pokemon with confirmed IVs, and this game can't do that for us. These equations can help. Have you tried the equations on your own Pokemon yet?
  14. When I have 57 EVs, I'm pretty sure I don't want to decrease all the way down to 12 (45 difference) when I can just go to 44 (12 difference). The more difference, the more money it costs. Plus, if I wanted to have a high EV, and decreased all the way down to 12 just to confirm, I'd have to EV train again which takes more time. I don't think this is pointless. Everyone has their own way to confirm their IVs. I'm just showing an alternative.
  15. The stat is on the Pokemon's info. Why would I use a different stat if it tells me exactly what stat it is.
  16. Oh I removed that one post I made; it can be any level depending on the circumstances. Btw, you got the Stat wrong; it's suppose to be 35.
  17. I think every Pokemon has different circumstances - base stat, level, stat, nature etc. In that one case of those particular circumstances, by using the equation, I calculated to be 44 EVs. I went on to field test it myself, and it confirmed the IV, no range at all. I can't complain with that result.
  18. I just prefer not to input the factors, and the calculator magically gives me an answer without it showing me how it is doing it. Whether if the answer is right or wrong, I'd like to figure it out myself if I can. Plus, it helps me keep my mind/curiosity active lol. Well a few hours ago, I used the equation on one of my Pokemon, and it helped me figure out how much EV was needed to confirm its IV without needing to level up or do much. Previous Defence EV: 57 Previous Defence IV range: 28-31 Pokemon: Eevee Level: 24 Defence Stat: 35 Nature: Hasty Nature Value for Defence: 0.9 Defence Base Stat: 50 So I plugged all that info in, and used the 31 IV first. EV = ( ( 35 / 0.9 - 5 ) x 100 / 24 - 2 x 50 - 31 ) ~ 10.2 Using the rules, I rounded that up to 11, and multiplied by 4. = 44 So I used the EV decreasing berries, fought some Tengela/Kakuna to adjust the Defence EV to 44, and I got a solid 31 Defence IV.
  19. I never thought I could make a guide that would become official lol.
  20. I've been proofreading it ever since you PMed me, even still today. It's done. I hope lol.
  21. Again, I like to see the mathematical proof myself instead of letting an online calculator do the calculations. I used to think that only high levels could confirm IVs, but now I believe otherwise. Plus, I wouldn't like to level a Pokemon to 100 just to confirm and sell. As I said before, I think everyone has their own preference. Also, I've already seen that guide.
  22. It may be considered useless, but I think everyone has their own method they prefer to use. Personally, I just like to see things with a mathematical proof. Plus, I think you can use this method with just a single level.
