I got my Mewtwo to level 100 ridiculously easy. [/quote] There are many, many, many resources on the internet in regards to EV training. I suggest google-ing "Fire Red gamefaqs". They tend to have very good guides concerning what you're looking for, specific to Fire Red. There are guides here as well, although centered around Pokemmo.

Thanks! If you're playing the cartridge there are additional tricks you can use not listed here. I made this guide for Pokemmo, basically an MMO version of Fire Red, so some of the mechanics are different. Things like Sweet Scent, etc.
