In the LC tier where speed is key, Gastly was the ultimate weapon as it could outspeed and threathen nearly the entire metagame while being immune to priority damage moves. The crazy usage of this seemingly untouchable glass canon didn’t come at a surprise and ultimately the TC felt it had to be removed from LC so that the tier could evolve with less centralisation and restrictions. However, the Gastly ban didn’t come without consequences since players lost a pokemon that could punish ground and normal spam better than any other. The TC acknowledges that the decision may have been premature, as we didn't garner any community input regarding gastly's presence in the metagame. For this reason, we would like to know if you think Gastly fits or not in LC and why. Gaslty ban announcement in January:

I actually think this is an amazing idea. Having a bench tier each week that doesn't officially count in the 10 tiers. Whoever wins the bench tier gives a bonus difference point for his team and also forces his manager to put him in the lineup the following week.

No. The tier council meetings are usually scheduled on the first Sunday of the month which mean after Friday's tournament. I would not except any tier change or bans before that.

I should probably challenge you to doubles duels more often if that makes me insane.

I don't need to release Zeikooo to keep him from entering another team. He is in my team, so he can't play for another. I can use him as a sub, but I not if I release him. I litteraly only lose by releasing him if I get nothing in return. This should demonstrate that your strategy is shit, so stop insulting my intelligence by assuming this shit strategy was what I wanted to do.
