I would put this game on the back-burner for now. The grind is really heavy, but if you think you can endure that, then jump right in. If you can't, then keep checking up on this game every now and then to see if they've updated the heavy grind out of the game.

I am very heartened by Kyu's post. As for some people's fear of the lack of player to player interaction, that will all depend on how they tackle dungeons (aka, will they only keep them at 2 players max, or will they allow for big party raids, which would be a fun and defining feature of this game).

This was pretty much just a Green/Blue render that looked similar to Gary... I probably just should have done a full on Green/Blue render, than try to bridge the two... edit: in fact, I really don't like this one. Gonna redo later.

Back when BP wasn't banned, my entire BP team, cause half of them didn't have attacking moves.

Addressing Noad's idea (cause I like it better than the OP) and concern about berry planting, I would suggest making the redistribution of EVs come at the cost of berries. Of Course this assumes that the grind for berries is really, really low.

no it is not representative of the true community here at pokemmo. Channel chat is full of people who just want to "have fun" by trolling other people. You'll find a nice community here on the forums. You can also find yourself a helpful/engaging team to join in the round table on the forums, though many may have prereq's before you can join.

not really. Devs came out and told us new players have better chances than old players (in the sense that old players have a higher "bot variable" than noobs do).

+ and a bunch of other hours on some alts. Most of my hours are not afk and are spent actually doing stuff. edit: roughly 6% of my life since July 2013 has been spent on these two accounts. and roughly 5% of my life since January 2015 has been spent on Gilan.
