Problem is charizard in ou really needs that extra power a +spatt nature would grant it; even worse it doesn't really get much benefit from a +speed nature. A special attacking charizard without any egg move or useful hidden power is really forced to run sunny day, solar beam, a fire move and another filler move. Thunderpunch is a possible gimmick to prevent gyarados from switching in 0- Atk Charizard ThunderPunch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Gyarados: 112-132 (65.8 - 77.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO Even assuming it comes in on something like fireblast or overheat you can still deal with it 252 SpA Charizard Fire Blast vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Gyarados: 45-54 (26.4 - 31.7%) -- guaranteed 4HKO Nevermind, i was sure the calc had intimidate included xddd One of the most interesting things of the sub petaya set was the possibility to 1hko the max ph bulk variant of chansey with flamethrower(?) or fireblast, but you'd have to rely on overheat for that +1 252 SpA Blaze Charizard Overheat vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Chansey in Sun: 342-403 (95.7 - 112.8%) -- 75% chance to OHKO I don't think overheat would be that good with a heavily setup centered set though. With the latest update i've seen a lot of my old "struggle mates" being put in a quite frustrating situation. Being one of the most experienced quitters in pokemmo, i think it's about time i start sharing my knowledge. My only goal with this guide is to help those who already considered quitting before, but always ended up coming back. I'm not saying everyone should quit regardless of what they're thinking; if you're having fun and you're satisfied with the game then why would you consider quitting? But anyway, let's get started The mindset The first thing you wanna do is to ask yourself some questions: 1 Am i having fun? If you're not having fun there's no point in still playing this game. A game is meant to be entertaining. Entertainment is what you were looking for when you first installed this game. The game has served it's purpose, it's time to move on. 2 Does all this grind pay back in terms of satisfaction or does it only lead to frustration? if you think all that grind is not worth the hassle then what's to gain other than frustration? it's not healthy 3 Has the game become a chore to me or do i still look forward to log in when i have the time? If a chore is not needed, then why not replace it with something more pleasing? noone's forcing you to play this game, you're free to have fun the way you see fit. Noone is gonna blow up your house if you stop playing for a few days. 4 Do i believe in the devs? are they actually interested in making the game more enjoyable? Pretty straightforward. Some of you are still waiting for features we've been asking for years. The game has been around for almost 4. how many more do you think will pass before you can call it a good game? do you think you will be able to endure all that stress until then? 5 Are there any alternatives? All i'm gonna do here is to help you in getting out of a situation you're already tired of. The choice is yours. Step 4: Wait a few weeks Most people will reconsider the game after they get tired of their new hobby and go back to point 1 again, only to regret it. If you have finally lost every hope for this game and you're sick of being that guy then there's only one thing you must do Give away everything you have Restarting from scratch, especially if you're someone who owns a lot, is something noone would be ever willing to do in pokemmo. The only case in which you'd rather keep your stuff rather than give it to someone who could put it to use would be the one in which you're still considering the possibility of coming back one day. Giving away all you have means getting rid of the last things that kept your interest in this game alive. At this point you know what the game is, you know what to expect from the devs. You're still in contact with your old friends, you have no excuse to keep playing despite not having fun.
