After some major fiddling around I have some interesting results to report. I setup the game exactly as I had it on my phone (S22 Ultra) on another Android device (Galaxy Tab A7). Importing a music mod did work on the Galaxy Tab and the music was playing so working mod. However after reinstalling everything on my S22 Ultra. The same working music mod on the Tab A7 did not work on the S22 Ultra. Import was successful just non working music. Also this issue is not isolated to a single music mod. I've tried several music mods and all have the same result. Support did get back to me and verified that the mod imported successfully and they werent sure why it wasnt working from the client side of things based on an error log report I sent in. So now I think we've narrowed it down to device/android version territory. Galaxy Tab running Android 10 works but S22 Ultra running Android 12 does not.

Was told by support to contact the mod creator even though I tried explaining that it isn't a specific mod issue I'm having since I have tried multiple with claimed Android support. Support told me they only deal with import issues. Guess I will go that route with the one I truly want to work.

Weird and you just only downloaded without doing anything to the mod? Not sure how I could be improperly importing. I've only been using the built in import feature of the client and it did come into the client properly with a successful import. It's just music stops working after the import. Pretty much only haven't tried directly placing the file from pc to android device. I don't believe it's a volume setting thing because as soon as I disable the mod without touching any other settings the default music is restored and does play unlike the mod.

They are in .ogg would you recommend converting them to .mp3 then retrying the zip?

I've tried what you both have suggested and it just will not work. After getting through import issues the mod is in the client but end result is still the same. All music sound is disabled. At a loss as to what else to try. For extra context the ones I've downloaded do work on my pc version.

Are music mods just not working on Android? I've tried several mods and none of them worked. Same result just no music loading at all. Only sound effects (like mon cries at start of battle) work after a successful mod import.
