  1. Its from Pokemon Black and White, the song is called "Challenging a Battle Competition", which is the main menu from the pvp mode Battle Competition in those games
  2. in a run i did with a group of 4, we managed to get 4 mysterious pokeballs and 2 great balls, we died after the 3rd boss. but when i checked my backpack i didn{t get them while one of my teammates who was still in the link did is it luck to get them or is something wrong here?
  3. So...since we got the new alphas, is it posible for a alpha to also be shiny? or are they unable to be shiny? i would guess the Kanto starters from Red/Leaf to be shiny locked, but what about those breeded or the new Alpha Pikachu we just got
  4. wait...you should of gotten 1 by now, unless it was random, i though you get them as a consumable item along side the golden chest and the alpha starter. check your bag in the Misc. items section and see if you can find it there. if not then i guess that got changed EDIT: nvm, i confused the normal variant with the shiny one. so yeah, it can only be obtained from golden chests or gts, sorry for the confusion
  5. im guessing you meant the other one with something yellow behind it. thats the shiny variant of that particle obtained also after defeating red/leaf(obtained as a usable particle and can be use on any pokemon you want), you can also get them from golden chests but im guessing it is as rare as the psychic training helmet that mewtwo use to wear(even if i did get the particle first try before fighting red/leaf) so its either: -beat red/leaf -buy golden chests and gamble -or just buy it from the gts
  6. While the fight against red (or leaf in my case) may not be as hard as other fights here, this one basically make me feel a roller coaster of emotions from failing massivly to feeling like having it but having blastoise survive and having me try to comeback by reviving my entire team while blastoise was also healing thanks to venusaurs gradual healing effect it gives to red's pokemon which made me have to redo blastoise's health and then i ran out of items. and then the last time where i got very lucky and managed to survive long enough to knock out all 3 of them at the same time by using hyper voice and 1 x special per turn while i also healed 1 pokemon at a time. i was so full of adrenaline that by the time i finished and got everything i still felt like my arm was on fire.(still is as of writting this) but it was all worth it, thanks devs for the event
  7. its similar to halloween but with way more npc encounters that always give you the equivalent of the goodie bag but without having to get candy first. so you get more rewards compared to halloween and the boss doesn't have 3 phases nor difficulty options, and it may be challenging depending if you have the right pokemon (if you do it might way easier than the pumpking). in terms of the alphas, yeah the only thing is that they have the hidden ability(only the kanto starters have alpha forms rn) and as bigger in the overworld compared to the normal variants. they do get some good ivs (maybe even perfect in some cases). but to get them you beat this events boss (will require a anniversary medal obtained from chests given to you by gym leaders, e4 and champion of the region you are(this ones are scattered around the overworld, they are not the actual npc you find inside the gyms))
  8. TRs are Tecnical Records, they function like TMs from gen 1-4 (or like in the mmo) where they break after 1 use. While TRs aren't as common as TMs that are given to you or the ones you find as an overworld item, they can be found more in Raid Battles as rewards depending on the type the Wild Dynamax Pokemon is, Raid Events and also available in some of the NPCs selling stuff in the Wild area. Also the fact that Earthquake can still be learned by pokemon via leveling up like Golurk and Tyranitar for example, Scald however only Volcanion learns it via level up
  9. im just gonna dop this here: for those who wanted to know were the log in screen music comes from, its the "Challenge the Battle Tornament" Track from Black & White. Just in case you wanted to hear it without having to be on that screen all the time
  10. yeah, it happens with all of the trainers there, most likely because in the original game they change sprites after noticing you, but because we don't have that in the mmo, they use their first sprite which is this.
  11. 507 hours and 4 shinies: -shiny goldeen at ??? encounters (wasn't counting at that time but i also was trying to get a shiny pikachu) (also sold) -shiny pikachu at 914 encounters (the one i wanted and the one i will always have) -shiny pikachu at 672 encounetrs (gave to a friend) -shiny pikachu at 194 encounetrs (sold on gtl) while i can't tell how many hours i had back when i encountered my first shiny, i can say that i joined on october 9, and the day that i caught the shiny was january 23, granted i didn't play every single day but it did take me 3-ish months to get it, by that time i have finished only kanto so you could say about 150-200 hours maybe also rn im tryin to get my friend a female shiny pikachu because it just so happens all my shinies were male and he wanted a shiny raichu with volt tackle, and its taking me so far 8502 encounters and counting (funnily enough, during the time i caught the last shiny and today, i've gotten 6 other shinies on other pokemon games, 2 on arceus and 4 on masters EX, yet no shiny on mmo)
  12. i could but i need to check first how to do it, thee must be some sort of guide for opening shops here
