The last dev response stated release was in about 2 weeks, 15 days now i think. Not asking to rush just wondering current projected release.

Perhaps the extra data could lag the server more when many players gather for events etc?

It would have to have its own Vanity slot. Idk if @Darkshade could add a new slot without redoing the Char. Customization 2.0.

They said there will be gernerational TMs. As to not screw up the current gen 3 TMs. So perhaps when we get sinnoh we will get its TMs set too.

The point of tiering is to ensure a tier with much variation in build style. Remember when chansey was the best avilable spec wall? Then usage r8 rose to like 60%. That is certainly not healthy. The meta is going to become very stale very quickly with this "were too scared to ban" type of mentality. People will just use whats "best". Lets take a look at the mons that are even in "OU". Lets start with walls since every team needs them. Spec walls: Chansey/Blissey, Jellicent? Tyran. + Sand???, Wobbu??????. Cmon guys we have literally 0 options here. Wobbu is a joke and un competitive, if people start using it ppl will simply quit en masse. Tyranitar is laughable to use as a dedicated spec wall because of typing and if they change the whether or it ends its over. Jellicent sucks and is weak to 4 really common types... You know what this means right? Players will be pushed into a position where Blissey is the only viable Special Wall. This is absolutely awful. We all thought chansey meta was bad, this will be much much worse. Blissey will literally be on every single team. No Bliss/chance? Well prepare to have your team rekd by literally any sp atkr. So how are we gonna deal with Bliss then...? Hmm if only there was a physically attacking pokemon that could also trap Blissey.... Hmmmm Players will be forced to run Dugtrio because its fucking OP. Awesome so how it is now 33% percent of your team is basically forced to be the same as everyone else. And if you dont use these mons you will only suffer. And we havent even gotten to both physical walls or any attackers you actually wanted to run. For Phys walls the list is longer, steel types have high base Def, many resistances, etc. Thing is ppl arent gonna run whacky wall Exca, Metagross, Magnezone. List of Viable phyts walls: Cloyster (outclassed), Ferrothorn (literally the best), Forretres, (outclassed), Skarm (eww) Uh oh guys were facing a similar issue as to before: Players are being pushed into a position where Ferrothorn is the best possible choice for them. Ok so now 50% of your team is pretty much set in stone... I mean, everyone else is using whats best, and not using whats best will cause you to lose.... sooo. You are practically forced to use these mons. I would go on about the physical atkrs and spec atkrs etc but that can be easily understood and actually is much more open up to variation. (Sort of) You can see my basic tiering of the tier below. Pretty much, pick from the S/A tier pool and choose synchronistic typings for the rest (1 mon kek). No because the suggestion might not always be 100% the same thing. Being a vampire about "hurr durr suggested b4" no shit. Theres 7 billion people in the world, theres no such thing as original thought. If we enforce strict lame ass rules it will only strangle players creativity from wanting to post a suggestion int he first place... Heya new user. Welcome to the game ^.^ You will find that there is no setting anywhere to zoom in the text... Fret not! I have found a workaround that works amazingly :) Heres a guide for windows (can also be done on mac/linux): Step 1: Put Pokemmo into the Smallest size window available in the settings (something like 800/700 pixls) Step 2: Drag the window the the bottom left corner lining up the the edge of the screen. Step 3: Press ""Windows Button and the + sign" at the same time. (this will bring up macrosoft built in magnifier... you may have to mess with settings) Step 4: Set the magniefier to 125%- 150% for the best effect, the game and text will now be much bigger.. Have fun ! :)

Well if we have 3x players online because of halloween event then more people will be online to buy RP!! If they want to pull in more donations they can add Kyu hat to the shop then or something like that, desus lab coat. Since both these items can be spawned in the game anyway....

lmao bro consumable items are consumable, and a 1/1000 chance wouldn't affect thingsfor very long, maybe like a month at most. I know you didnt rad the whole thread but i already touched on this. Just cause ppl get stuff for free one in a year doesnt mean they wont buy it kek. If anything it puts a good taste in their mouths about RP items and the effects (ie more boxes, higher shiny rate etc). This will show them how cool these items are, and then they may buy a couple more boxes. Srsly tho a 3 day event with heavily consumable RP items wouldn't do shit in the long run.

If you care so much about values then dont include any vanities and only include donators passes and stuff. The argument that this would hurt ppl from donating is laughable too, since the itmes are all consumable the effect will only be temporary until theyve all been used up. Were also talking about a 1/1000 drop or w/e. Same for semi are still consumable as fuck, and you know, useful. Common all consumable or existed in previous halloween events. I guess i really just need to address Kyu statement directly then, because so far nobody has explored new options. @Kyu Ok: You are unsure that you can even backport the event.... Why dont you try ?? So Kyu lets assume that it truly is impossible. Workarounds are a thing. You basically have just enough time to code a whole new halloween event, but cut down. Here's a really simplified version that really shouldnt take long to make: Add back the 3 NPC's (if you cant port the part that makes them roaming then just making them static in verm/lavender or something). Have them award 1 candy ea. Add back a NPC that takes candies as currency for bags of some sort. (make a new mystery box type item for this or simply use the PvP mysery box as a reward) [second option: actual shop for the candies ex: 1 candy = 3 vitamins 2 candy = rare candy etc] Annnd youre done. You just saved Halloween! So all in all you could get away with only adding 4 new npcs, potentially have to make a new mystery box type item, but other options are available. Pumpking can be left out entirely because it would take too much time to recreate.

The game devs clearly stated it's not healthy... THERE YOU GO discussion over. Why don't we focus our efforts in planning a balanced alternative. Instead of literally looping over and over on the same subject with no new points or efforts to think of a solution.

Why is everyone simply debating the fact that bringing back vanities is healthy or not. My suggestion clearly suggests to use pc expansion, donators tickets, and other vanities already in shop as placeholders. Seriously the argument that the devs don't have time to do this is rediculous. It can't take more than 5 minutes to edit an item to say 2017 at the end and edit contents with items that already exist in the game. You guys are about to update the game drastically right? Well guess what barely any of the player base is even aware of this. Server usage actually goess back to high during Halloween. Maybe 3x more players.... What an amazing time to have a grassroots effort by all s GM's etc to inform players in the chat while the event is going on. You guys do realize that between the number of ppl that can't run the update, ppl that hate gen 5, ppl too lazy to dl a a new rom.... The update has a chance of killing the game. Pissing off players, not even attempting to inform ppl en masse they are being force-fed and entirely different game essentially, these are all things that will end up contributing to player loss.
