Kill la Kill is an original series, there is nothing to read, it's not an adaption. On another note, I'm worried for BlazBlue: Alter Memory as video game to anime adaptions haven't had the best run, but I like BB's story enough to give it a solid chance (that and brace yourselves for the never-ending fanservice).

And I'll send extra notation to Kill la Kill because it's animated by Studio Trigger (new animation studio formed by the animators of Toppa Tengen Gurran Lagann and the new Evangelion movies), and directed and written by the people behind Toppa Tengen Gurran Lagann. So there is that. It also looks hecka cool so yeah.
