Does NU need to lose Poliwrath? It isn't any kind of broken in the tier and sporting a near similar usage in UU and NU. Also feel NU is losing the most out of the new changes as higher tiers adapt new choices like wrath to combat threats.
There's a few mons that can switch in against Sharpedo but my fear is the combination of Sharp and Blaziken together. All the new HA's are great but Blazikens position is still staying relatively strong. Quagsire use is probably going to skyrocket but the 2 have enough sp attack that a hidden power grass set isn't totally unviable. Losing out on a move slot might effect their offensive abilities to much though.
Removing Feraligatr and Espeon only makes Blaziken stronger too. Golem is going to be one of the most common pokemon Espeon comes in against and loses to a full hp golem 9 times out of 10. Still switching into it outside of some select mons would be troublesome and NU keeps losing pokes.
I keep seeing screens being the main issue with espeon. The same argument was made for electrode as well. If screens are such an issue in NU what about getting suspect testing light clay?
This is purely from talk I've seen and mentions of the TC. Torkoal would probably move up too. Along with Espeon.
Edit: when I get home from work I can also provide some better argument to why bouff may not be great in UU as well instead of just hearsay.
Speed boost is far and above a lot of the abilities other starters got. Blaziken is fine without it and sits as the most used pokemon in NU for months. No other starters in game really have abilities as strong as Blazikens.
I've quit the game and come back 3 or 4 times. This doesn't have to be the only thing people are interested in or play. It's perfectly fine and normal to leave during droughts and return when content drops.
