I like this suggestion a lot. This would help us to breed up our old untradeable rewards with bad IVs which are just completely useless nowdays, or just straight up use some non-shiny stuff to breed a different mon. Upvoted

I love my legendaries too But soon Articunos despite their legendary status are going to be worth 15k, it's gonna really suck to hunt a mon with a super low encounter and catch rate to find out that it's basically worthless, so I think such a sink would motivate players to hunt for shit they otherwise would not care about

I'm thinking about creating some kind of an NPC which can help us "get rid" of our legendaries which are useless, working in a similar way as that shiny collecting baron. That NPC could consume our legendary for: -Rainbow Quills -Elemental Orbs -Nature Herbs -Legendary lures -Battle points? Opinions?

Regardless, while I agree that Dugtrio should disappear, you can't really say that it makes sand unplayable with Tyranitar being one of the top usage pokes. I'm unsure about which mon are you talking about when you mention that it's a counter to Volcarona though, because if it's Ttar, then I would never list it as a counter. And I agree- PokeMMO OU is the most disgusting metagame I have ever seen across all the generations and metagames I played, on par with VGC 16.

I'll give you screenshots 🙂 I was about to run a Johto alt when the event hit so they are still unevolved. For every e4 I also bring a low level Sturdy pokemon with Stealth Rock (to break other Sturdy pokemon and focus sashes).

For Krooko I use EQ, Crunch, Brick Break and Rock Slide (all of them are getting passed during breeding) Exca uses EQ, Rock Slide, Brick break and X-Scissor (same story- they all get passed after re-breed) I was also using Gengar for Hoenn- it solo'd, it's very easy to use/ re-breed and works super well. Mine is TBolt, Sludge Bomb, Shadow Ball and Giga Drain Hope this helps 🙂

I used to have the same approach as you, for many years but now I think that every perspective is valuable, especially the ones you do not agree with 😉 Noone should undermine Pachi's experience and knowledge, he's ex-TC and has been playing for a very long time with a lot of successes. Regarding Gallade itself- I'm just curious if there's any point for us to discuss actually? I thought that this change was in general pushed onto us by devs and TC had nothing to do with it.

Cloyster won't do it for several storylines- there are some 3v3 battles in Johto and Sinnoh where Cloyster just simply won't do it, I tried it xD For Kanto all you would need is a Starmie. It's generally the absolute best pokemon for altruns overall- make it Modest with max spatk and speed, give it TBolt, Ice Beam, Surf and Psychic (Psyshock would've been *much* better but unfortunately it does not get passed through breeding), mow down the storyline and you can re-breed the mon itself. For Johto and Sinnoh, I typically use Krooko + Exca + Starmie. For Ho-oh fight, Krooko and Exca hold Rawst berries. Lately I've figured that it might be better to just keep 2 mons on the level cap for the Ho-oh fight and transfer them before the fight itself. Starmie clears entire storyline all by itself anyway For Hoenn unfortunately Starmie won't do 😞 I used to run Hoenn with Gallade, though but a little more about this mon below. Other great pokes include Krookodile (amazing pokemon for clearing E4), Excadrill with HA (clears the sturdy fights), PoryZ, Medicham or Gallade. Gallade is capable of solo-ing Kanto, Hoenn and Unova thanks to it's monstrous damage boost from Sharpness (I used Sacred Sword, Night Slash, Leaf Blade and Psycho Cut), but it's expensive to re-breed as it can only breed with Ditto, and you need to re-moveset it for each storyline. Cloyster, Mold Breaker Haxorus and Pinsir are also great options, especially Pinsir thanks to it's good attack/speed and no need to use any items to evo it. Haxorus is a very common pokemon for alts, but I'm not fond of it because it evolves late. Unova is disgusting, don't run it if you value your mental health

Many of us stopped discussing because, to put it simple, we are not being listened to. And because of Caio but that's a totally different can of worms I thought that the Gallade's reverse nerf was an omen of some new mons/ HAs coming into the game, I had an impression that there's a plan behind it. Oh well

Bring 3 torkoals 4 banded sheer force darmanitans with flareblitz 4 specs solar power charizards with blast burn and some random shit Setup sun with one of the torkoals, spam blast burn with charizards/ darmanitans and watch the boss take the damage cap every hit, enjoy Raids allow us to utilize so many different strats and mons that otherwise would be sitting in boxes that it's just unreal. Real cool endgame content tbh
