CosmicBreak does this. In fact they have various background images rotating in the login screen. They also add unique bgm sometimes.This is still supposed to be the alpha...-sigh-

Wat ._.I'd prolly still use the Bulbapedia/Smogon/Serebii. In-game clock would be sugoi though.

Against all the feelings of refusal inside of me, I have to agree with Azhelika on this. I'm not sure how well this works in japan - they seem to be more social in general - but the trade evolutions are doomed to fail in the western culture. I used to trade between two Transfer Paks, but this isn't an option of course （ ´,_ゝ`) So yeah, I really like the idea. The evolution fee could also be pretty heavy, like 100.000 or something like that. That way people will think twice if they actually make them, and we even get a decent money sink something to use our Pokédollar on <3 So yeah I really support this idea. Make this an alternative with some heavy downside.

Enjoy the player base decreasing as anyone starts farming the earliest none-safe zone - not to mention dat Max Revive spam :3c I'll never get why everyone wants those people to drop their stuff btw. As long as we don't have item boxes + a way to store our money away, dropping shit from your inventory was a horrible idea.

This. The move/ability names can't be simply translated (i.e: Serene Grace becomes Edelmut/Gallantry in german). I think it's just natural to add the IG descriptions to it.

^^^^^^ That was the first song I could watch in my region and actually liked. Listen if you dare (`･ω･´) When I was a child I sometimes just turned on a game to listen to its BGM. I really like that track and I think whoever removed it from the international versions should burn in hell for it D:<

That feel when it takes you 16 hours of play time to catch ONE Chansey. Oh I can also make a little story post: Just a few days ago (yesterday or the day before actually), somebody asked "Helix or Dome?" and I answered "Helix" but then realized this won't give you Kabuto and felt like "shit, gotta wait for 30 secs". Welp somebody else posted "Helix" right away. The time limit passed and I wort "lol, no dome" and the guy asking just posted "Im so fucked right now D=" and I felt really bad, like some random troll completely ruining somebody's game play experience :S If said person should read this: I'm really sorry about this. ;_;

Pretty much what Albino said. However, once the game is out of the beta and the devs have actually the time to implement completeyl new features it sure would be interesting to have some ort of a special "Rivals Mode" of some sort. This could be a match between two players using certain Pokémon, or even something like a pecial dungeon: Both player would start on the ame map on two identical, but seperated paths, facing the ame NPCs and pretty much having to solve the same puzzles, while using a tea of their choice or even the ame team of pokemon. The one who reache the goal first could win. Another idea would be to implement certain points where the players meet each other. This places could have certain item, or even pokemon that can only be picked-up once (I assume this had to be an "intsance"?) making it easier for whoever gets there first. omething like that Collieum chapter in Golden Sun. Not sure if that was even possible, bt defintely fun to do.

I like the basic Idea, what I don't get is why it should be more expansive. You could also ask to ban the use of Surf from the Safari Zone, because you can "exploit" it.

Would be really cool if you could customize he sprites for the overworld and trainercards. I trust that customiing the sprite you see for yourself would be nearly impossible unless somebody actually made new ones, but maybe you could change the sprite other people could see while battling you/in your trainer card? Oh and maybe more window options, but that was a bonus. Guess the most demanded thing right now would be secret bases/player houses.

IIRC you were even allowed to use the bike in the underground passages you can use to avoid going to through Saffron City + places like Mt. Moon. There is absolutely no reason to disable running inside buildings. Bikes should still be disabled for novelty reasons :3c

My, isn't this an active topic! I really like this idea. When I played Pokémon Gold for the first time I spent hours catching crap in hope for some nice item. Didn't happen until way later in the game though. I never got why they didn't pay more attention this. I'm lazy, so I didn't read the entire thread, but I did notice someone saying it was unreliable because it'd require luck and an insane amount of Poké Balls: I'm not sure if this is implemented yet, but once the hold items and attack are finished, we could easily hunt for items by spaming a team of Thief users. I did this a lot in the Kanto part of Gold. Iirc, Pokémon with more than one possible held item, have been introduced in Generation 2, so it's not impossible. Hunting for rares might become troll though =3
