  1. Due to the fact that gym leaders and E4 have been tweaked... I don't think that there is any poke that can face-roll much. If there is... I would not tell Devs because they quickly nerf it. Sweepers and strong physical attacks win the day.
  2. If you play smart, it's not tougher. You would need to get a sweeper and run it full time to beat the E4 with no problems, but as I get older, I learned that the E4 now needs at least 10 Revive items and 2 poke that can rock shit. Starmie, Gengar, Lapras, Krookorok. Big boys that can nuke the E4 v1.0 help you get through it and then you can play the regular game. The regular game being... just people grinding and farming. Good luck!
  3. Girl, I've been playing for nine years now. I do know the Kanye code. It's like the Konami Code.
  4. I am here for the sad poops that will keep asking "when is anniversary" and "Johto tomorrow". Let me keep doing behind the scenes damage control. ❤️ Like I have always been, behind the scenes. If anything... I will bonk them on the head with a stick/club in honor of mommyissues Cubone. ? She was a good girl. Loved her mama. Loved Jesus and America too. Big F for Mama Cubone and mama issues. ?
  5. So now I have a Fling (a few posts above) that didn't consume hold item Pretty Wing and here I have a Fling that didn't consume a Lucky Egg (Small). I guess if one flings a Damp Rock and it doesn't work, we know they changed it so Fling doesn't entirely destroy an item after battle.
  6. Just because we can access only 7 gyms doesn't mean they have not coded them. If you get to the 7th badge and there are a herd of Snorlax and Wailmers blocking the path to progression, then they just don't want us going passed there yet. This is the initial PTS to check early areas and test balancing. Eventually they should have a PTS with full E4 access and the debug commands so we can really get into it. Back when PokeMMO was new, there was only Kanto and you could only go up to Brock's gym. The horror! The terror!
  7. I found a Sinnoh horde of 1,805 logged onto the forums.
  8. I found a horde of anxious players ready for Sinnoh PTS in Vermillion and a horde of staff standing on a roof.
  9. Now it has used Fling and the item didn't get consumed or vanish. I'm not sure if they saw my above post and made a ninja edit or Fling is wonky and broken. Maybe Pretty Wings can't be thrown because they don't work in a damage calculation?
  10. It seems if they use Fling, it destroys their hold item permanently so that's a thing to watch out for. To reply to someone's early comment that they were getting just Damp Rocks, it seems to be Damp Rocks, Pretty Wings, and Lucky Eggs Small. Be patient.
  11. I would say surf around in the water south of Mossdeep (but still in the city).
  12. Normal server is up, but... Edit: Nevermind. Guess they're still tinkering with stuff. 15 minutes or so left in their estimated time they stated.
  13. Some people use Synchronize pokemon during catching events. This kind of helps them 5% more, but then again, they will now have to use a turn to swap out their Synchronize pokemon to put in their catcher pokemon which takes all the time of a single turn and opens the catcher up to a free hit. *shrugs* Nothing else to see here. Move along.
  14. As far as I know, wild Meowth can hold Amulet Coins that can be traded/sold on GTL (as well as holding Nuggets which NPC vendor for $5,000).
  15. Lucky Eggs have been in the dev's sights for a long time now so we have had some time to expect a change. Amulet Coins is kind of out of left field, but in line with their "expiration-based enhancement" items. It's an MMO so they want to keep people playing (read: possibly donating) for as long as possible. If they keep people hunting consumable lucky eggs and amulet coins, it gives players a "goal" or something to work towards rather than getting a single Amulet Coin and Lucky Egg and sitting on them / using the same one over the days/months/years to come. I'm mainly concerned / laughing at the idea of how much they increased the Lucky Egg chances on Chanseys (or if we'll be able to encounter non Safari Chansey in Sinnoh; which I've read they are wild/non safari there). The idea of hunting current Chansey with the old method's RNG for Lucky Eggs VS only getting a bonus for an hour? Laughable. We will likely have wild Chansey to farm now with False Swipe / Spore and without Safari nonsense. Edit: Wild Chansey in Sinnoh are Route 209, 210, and Trophy Garden so yeah. With the Frisk nerf, it's back to using Trick on Smeargles to scout for items.
  16. For some information about the unique mechanics PokeMMO brings into play, I highly suggest going through the version update notes on these very forums. Welcome and enjoy your stay.
  17. Found this in Kanto Safari Zone. Obviously the other methods for getting this are more favorable compared to Safari hunting due to running and lack of Frisk, but I'm posting it here for the sake of completion.
  18. Can go ahead and removed Lugia from the original post: I'm at 590 missing Zapdos, Raikou, Suicine, Entei, Regice, Registeel, Latias, and Latios, so that's at least 598 possible. Spoiler tag is my current dex screenshots. May not want to click the spoiler tag if you're on a mobile device. Of note is mostly the Sinnoh and legendary Pokemon. I'll update it when I'm at 598 (which should be in a million years due to getting cuffed by crits, but only once very far into Battle Tower).

    Great Job

So that was a thing that happened.
  20. Route 22 Night Hoothoot. (Yes, I named my Pidgey Rache). Don't you judge me. Magnemite Route 6 Route 10 Magnemite Route 10 Ekans during the day as well (noted only at night). Grimer Route 16 Cape Brink surfing Poliwhirl Cape Brink surfing Slowpoke + Slowbro Route 14 Night Noctowl Mawaile is certainly found on Granite Cave B2F Butterfree was removed from the wild and I found Silver Powder hold item on Metapod in Pattern Bush.
  21. Placeholder animations are better than no animations at all for the ones that aren't finished yet. If you go into the version update notes from way back in the day, you can read about how far things have come with functionality, which puts things into perspective. In related news, I still love when an opponent uses Ice Beam (I think that's it) on me, it comes out of my Pokemon.
