I'm really bad at brainstorming ideas. If this is too hard or you got other priorities, I understand.
As the title suggests, I feel like the vs seeker should be updated. Due to the fact that we can already re-challenge NPC's by just walking up and talking too them, it kinda makes the item irrelivant. The simple function of it too make it visible for when NPC's are re-challengable could also be accomplished by an alarm set on a phone (what i do lol) or some other method of reminding yourself to re-challenging them.
As for my suggestion too how it could be made better, would it be possible too make it save replays of battles you've done before? Yes I'm aware tournament battles have a replay function, but those tournaments don't sit in the list forever (correct me if i'm wrong about that bit), and we can't re-watch battles on the ladder. I'm a big advocate of analyzing battles too see what you could've done better to maybe secure the win, and I feel like making the vs Seeker record battles could be a good idea.
For the "how this could be done" part. I believe it could be rather simple to have the game save the replays in a text format (or some other simple format that the game could read easily) and have it save to your desktop/phone. The format for the file made too the pc could be done in a similar way that Pokemon Showdown saves its teams. (i'd show a pic of this but i don't actually have any teams saved lol) This would make it easy to access the battle within the vs seeker. We could talk to an NPC before/after the battle to save the replay, make it a setting in the settings menu to have the game save it, or maybe make it a chat command (like /savereplay or something lol) I suppose if we get too full on replays (full as in we as a player decide we have too many) we could either delete the file from our phone/pc or could incorperate an in game delete function. (i'd imagine deleting a file on a phone might be more hassle than its worth lol)
