I'm pretty sure that the new breeding has sacrificed most of the old breeds. Not to forget, the old players weren't actually preparing for this type of breeding. Most of them (at least I did) sold 3x 31s at giveaway prices. When you compare two time frames you have to compare the drawbacks too and not nitpick the positives. Also, the physical special split actually made people rebreed stuffs.

If anything, the new system has removed dependency of new players on older players and on the RNG. 3)The guys at the top will be at the top unless you grind enough to beat them at the top. Remember, they grinded their asses off to get there, it only seems fair that to beat them you have to grind harder 4)They do care about the quality of gameplay which has improved greatly and is still improving. The breeding mechanics as a whole, hatching (rip in shit bikemmo), reusable move tutors, shard tutors, ability for anyone to breed a 6x31(if that turns you on), better way to get money(soon™ ;-;), narrowed IVs (soon™) the tourney mode battling, list keeps going on and on. This game is improving and moving in a positive direction with every passing day. There needs to be an economy in an mmo. For the last time -this is not firered online or emerald online, its an mmo and if you're poor(as a whole, not in coins)it means you didn't play it enough or got scammed consistently. You can do whatever you want with your time ingame as long as you don't come and complain, "hey the guy with 5K Hours is ahead of me who has 10 hours of game play. This system is unfair, rigged, favours a particular gender, <insert stuffs commies say> etc".
