Ok, anyway, I have the screenshots to unban the ban since the truth is the only thing that matters to me is my favorite poke riolu if they don't give me the idea that even if it is they give me my riolu and a hat

I'm quoting you so you can't go back and edit this later. I want any player who wanders into this thread to see what you said after I clearly showed that you were the owner of the account that YOU even said was the actual thief. You will receive no further responses or support regarding this matter. This is why we can't have nice things.

  2. Since you want to make this public then you'll get a public response.

You claim (I'm quoting you from your other post about this): "hope they will respond the report to ban the person who scammed him, the guy's name was ashcomepaleta and he was the one who stole the deino 4x31 and he was the one who sold it to me"

The email for the account that player is registered to is your email address.

That account has also only logged in from your IP address. And 2FA records show that it was authorized to your device and by your email.

While our staff is not perfect and will on the rare occasion make a mistake, they're not stupid. I haven't yet discussed this matter with the SGMs but I am betting that none of them will be in disagreement that due to your repeated public efforts to make the PokeMMO staff appear as incompetent regarding this issue it shows that you are not a compatible fit for the PokeMMO community and you should no longer be playing here indefinitely. Your dishonesty has gone beyond just scamming another player and has now turned into this situation.

  3. I assure you that behind the scenes matters are being dealt with and bans are on the table for those manipulating ranks. That's not just lip service, just last week some bans were handed out for this very issue.

No system is perfect though. What does help is if you know for sure and can provide some tangible proof of rank manipulation report it in our ticketing system and I promise you it does get investigated. But as always proof is required for GMs to take action on reports.

I will bring up to Desu the matter of improving our match up monitoring system.

Whoever said this has no clue about experimental probability. If you roll a six sided die for 6 times it is likely that you will not get number 6 within those rolls, however if you roll it 100 times, there is a good chance you will get a 6 (almost certainly). The shiny encounter rate is just like a massive die with 1/8192. Although each several roll is independent, on a bigger scale your chances of getting a shiny is increasing.

This is bullshit. The dice and the universe does not retain memory of previous rolls. This is akin to gambler's fallacy.

STATISTICALLY, given all things being fair, over an infinite amount of rolls, we should see an equal result of all 6 numbers showing up.

But we as people don't work in infinites. Finite rolls mean skewed results. Maybe your first 100 rolls will be 1. The probability of that happening is very low, but it can happen. All while the guy next to you rolls all 2 for their first 100 rolls.

You guys really need to just stop. RNG is RNG. It's random (don't nitpick and get into semantics about applying new seeds and blah blah blah, it's random as far as you're concerned).

The only thing you can be certain of is that the more pokemon you encounter, the more likely you are to see a shiny. BUT THAT'S NOT A GUARANTEE BECAUSE RNG.

  5. Nope, not gonna happen. Not accepting input while inactive is one of the many ways to curtail macrobotting via programs like AHK (I should know, I've done it with plenty of games). Makes it too easy for someone to set up a script to bot while they watch a show or whatever and keep an eye on the game halfassedly in case a gm or player accuses them of botting, "no meng! see! i am here! totally not bot!".

I feel like its the exact opposite of such, the previous forum was much simpler imo.

Yeah in the old forum, I ripped out plenty of stupid shit that only fed egos or was pointless. I have no say over the update changes, just here for lulz. :)

  7. Pretty sure the devs don't like "daily tasks"; as they promote logging in just to do that and not actually playing the game.

It's already been discussed and there's a good chance of it happening after other stuff is done. It'll be basic to start with, such as "defeat/capture X AMOUNT of TYPE pokemon". So for example "Catch 10 wild grass type pokemon" or "Defeat 10 fire type pokemon in trainer battles" or "Win 10 PvP battles with a water type pokemon". Beyond that, it hasn't been fleshed out more. My thought was always offer players something similar to how GW2 does daily quests. Offer players about 10 possible quests to do each day, once they've completed 5 of them, they get a reward. After completing x amount of daily quests over any span of time (like 100), offer a large reward. Leaderboards will show who has done the most daily quests overall. This adds a competitive aspect to it and encourages people to do them above just getting in game rewards.

At a certain time each day, daily quests reset and give you a new set of 10 quests to complete.

Again, this is just ideas that have been thrown around, nothing is ready yet but no one disagrees that it would be a good addition to the game.

Yeah, my post was back in Feb before anything had been discussed beyond Shu and Desu and myself. I'm sure it's been brought up and the idea has been played with more since then given that there has been posts about it by other staff after mine (I'm not as involved with this as I used to be, mostly here for the lulz atm).

And since I haven't heard Desu talking about it at all, I assume it's still down on this list under things like sound engine and more entertaining gameplay features that could be added.

Daily quests serve more as a true population check for staff and gives players incentive to do things they normally wouldn't do otherwise. Meaning they're out in the world potentially interacting with new players while they do dailies. And an idea I ran by Desu which he didn't disagree with is that monthly quest rewards should give players harder to get stuff or have a random chance to. That includes master balls, in game shop currency for hats and whatnot, etc. Nothing set in stone of course, but no one was against it.
