Every year in hatching season a Plusle and Minun egg hatch at exactly the same time and their partnership begins. This year one little Minun hatched from his egg to find the remains of Plusle's shell but no Plusle. Can you help reunite Minun with his buddy? The player who returns the highest scoring Plusle will receive a shiny Minun for their trouble. Date: Saturday 11th November Time: Catching time starts at 20:00 GMT | 21:00 CET | 15:00 EST until 21:00 GMT | 22:00 CET | 16:00 EST - any Plusle caught outside this time wont be valid. Location: The results will be announced inside the Rustboro City, Hoenn, Channel 7 Rules: To win this event you need to submit a Plusle that scores the highest. Points will be awarded to an entry through the total sum of IVs and a Nature Bonus if applicable. All entries must be submitted to participating staff members by linking them in whispers. Just to clarify it is not shiny, it's a competitive Manectric with higher IVs that can be selected to customise Hidden Power and four selectable Egg/Tutor/Special moves.

A PokeMMO history lesson: Why do the British celebrate Bonfire Night on 5th November? In 1603 Queen Elizabeth I died and left no child as an heir, so the English throne went to the King of Scotland at the time, James VI. A number of people disliked King James for various reasons but mainly his choice of religion. A group of people plotted to blow up the Houses of Parliament, killing the King and his men. This was due to take place on 5th November, the state opening of Parliament. A man called Guy Fawkes was involved in this plot, he was a former soldier and an expert in explosives. He was in charge of rigging up Parliament's basement with enough explosives to bring the whole place down. Unfortunately for him, word got out about the plot and he was caught red handed in the basement of Parliament with all the explosives at midnight on 4th November. Without going into gruesome detail, Fawkes was tortured for days before he confessed in full and was then executed alongside his co-conspirators. Since then Great Britain has celebrated 5th November in commemoration of the plot to destroy the Monarchy being foiled. Rather morbidly, some people create a dummy (known as a "Guy") and burn it on the bonfire. Fireworks are also set off in significance of the gunpowder that was laid to destroy parliament. Many thanks for the thoughtful suggestion. Currently our development team are working on a big update, looking to release the Unova region very soon. We certainly think it'll be worth the wait. I've been a member of the community here for over 4 years and in my experience PokeMMO updates always aim for quality over quantity, but I am sure any Devs reading this will take your comments on board. @Toast whilst creating a name for your evolved form is entirely optional, I am sure you can come up with something more imaginative than that. ;)
