  1. I don't think that's really possible cause everyone builds their team differently and so depending on the team they may or may not have a good switch in to your volcarona for example, it is up to you at the point to judge what your opponent is most likely to switch into and if they switch into something you are not expecting, why. As an example, if your volcarona is low health and they switch in to a scizor into your giga drain, they might have done so cause bullet punch will kill. There really are way too many possibilities to document. I myself definitely have room to improve in terms of switching in mind games too.
  2. You make an excellent point and I agree, in a tournament setting where your opponents can see your matches and get used to the teams you are using and eventually have the knowledge of what nature your shiny is, yes your point makes sense. My perspective when I made the post was from a regular matchmaking setting where as far as I know you may not be facing the same opponents everytime and so the element of surprise is still there. Besides gift shinies are not only from PvP tourneys, you could get them from catch events too if you are lucky.
  3. You say that sooner or later everyone is gonna know the nature of your gift shiny and it puts you in a disadvantage, but when you are picking the nature in the first place, you are picking the nature that is most suited for the build you are gonna use and depending on the mon you are using, that nature can be guessed relatively easily unless you are going for an off build. Even if mints exist and you want to change the nature of the gift Mon, you are still likely to change it to a nature that is within expectations for that Mon so the disadvantage is still there regardless of whether you have the mint or not. Besides when you actually play in comp, whether it's PvP gift or not people can sort of guess the nature of the mon so your point that the mint changing the nature makes the gift Mon viable makes no sense. That being said, it's true there is some merit to using mints to make Mons gifted from story not completely useless post game, but it should only be limited to that.
  4. By far the hardest mons to get OT for would be kangaskhan, johto starters and unova Pheno only mons. Kudos to you for managing to catch those.
  5. There really should be a way to search within the PVP statistics page for a specified Pokémon for us to easier find its preferred items/nature etc within the specified tier.
  6. You'll need a 1x31 throh with careful nature holding everstone and a 2x31 ditto. For situ one of the 31 needs to be the same with throh, the other 31 in the other stat you want, give it the power item for the 31IV that is different from throh.
  7. This question will never be answered cause no one will try this on purpose haha.
  8. Gym leaders Pokémon usually have their HA given to them.
  9. Does the 6 to 8 boxes include the ditto boxes? Or just solely for the charmander
  10. Not at the moment, cause theres no alpha mamoswine yet
  11. Red slime and lethal sting could be anything, wanna re translate?
  12. I'm guessing alpha pidgey or Mankey next
  13. You can't put genderless here cause genderless can only breed with their own species or ditto.
  14. I'm so glad I started with snivy, at least I have 1 grass patch to use.
  15. oh ok i see it, maybe cause i had caught a scyther before thats why i can now make the new non OT scyther OT using ditto.
  16. If i remember right i bred a non OT scyther and an OT ditto, the scyther came back as OT.
  17. Will OT* make the pokedex entry green?
  18. I can say that if you buy a Pokémon let's say bulbasaur off the GTL, then proceed to breed it with an OT ditto that you caught, the baby bulbasaur will be OT. So you can go ahead and buy the rarer ones off GTL and breed with ditto to get your OT
  19. Breloom would suffer especially, since his moves are weak to poison
  20. So wait, does that mean we can only have up to 4 Pokémon with hidden abilities for our account accross the 4 regions? Or we can still encounter HA Mons in the wild and are not restricted to using the HA patches to unlocking hidden abilities.
  21. We can't use the prize ditto for breeding though right?
  22. I would say in most general cases attackers will have 2-3 attacking moves and 1-2 status move being either to buff itself or inflict status on opponent or setup hazards. Tanks are more likely to have 2 attacking moves and 2 status moves.
