https://yourlogicalfallacyis.com/anecdotal i think the very heavy multi lingual push to get pokemmo in as many languages and countrys and devices as fragmented pokemmo into many small ponds where no one speaks the same language and cant communicate. lack of communication has inherently weakened the competitive community because it is not a community but many small ones that can not share ideas and strategy and talk tier'ing. all these little ponds will have their own metagame based off their own separate and similar but different strategys and ideas. meanwhile all the old farts are dying because this game doesnt have much to give after you finish it and devs dont care about that market. also this IS the trash talk section of psl folks so while i call current gen players trash, try not to get too offend or put too much weight behind those words. just the right amount of offended to be entertaining.

if they raise the dead form the crypt i'll be pissed. the whole idea of the crypt is "put them in a stone tomb they cant get out of" just for this reason

naaaaah they have to make you remember how much you love these charecters and spend time with them before they kill them. remember these characters were played by real people who played them for 8 years and many want a final scene of dialogue before marching to their death. after 8 years thats a rather hard thing to cut for time.

maybe its just me but i like you and i forgave you for coaching scandal, but after that i really dont think you should be touching psl with a ten foot stick as manager/host/council ever again.

not a lot to go on but i'll give you a shot in the dark. aldnoah zero for mecha space opera one punch for action comedy shinsekai yori for mystery drama horror romance action thingy full metal alchemist brotherhood for drama action mystery with some romance jojo's bizarre adventure this is difficult to describe but its amazing and one of the few anime that made its way into my d&d games violet evergarden for drama romance bit of action and insane animation ghost in the shell stand alone complex. imagine a secret police show set waaaaaay in the future where everyone is a cyborg and then watch it and find out its better then anything you ever could imagine. its ok but not amazing

for real? i'll answer this for me and you can take whatever you want from it. i consider myself a player after throwing many years and thousands of hours into this game. i dont currently play because the game is in a somewhat shitty state atm imo. staff has throw the "end game content" under the bus in favor of mobile (for the money) and are currently pushing new content. new regions new whatever instead of giving players something to do once they finished. this is because they have resigned themself to loosing a lot of players once they are done with the story line and figure the ones who are still here will wait forever. rather then trying to make a game that will keep people playing they are forever looking for new markets on multiple platforms and phones and foreign country's. the "lets not have bans guys" and other idiocracy is just icing on the cake. that being said after such a long time playing and meeting so many people through this game it will be very hard for anyone to just give up and quit and never look back. the hope "it will get good or at least better" will be there for a long long time since this is forever in development. hell as it is for a sit down and play through and then quit, its better then the handhelds in many ways, just not something i would want to play everyday forever. and players such as me who know everyone in this thread to one degree or another might come back just for the people if nothing else. couple people in this thread i would love to have over and cook dinner for and go fishing with or go to the zoo or whatever normies do these days.
