1. I had the wonderful idea to invent magic. That would earn me millions! But first I have to figure out how to invent magic... Until then, I'm learning how to write properly, learning to animate properly, and trying to put the ideas in my brain out on screen somehow. Not sure what the best medium to tell my story is.
2. I don't own the game anymore. Played it first on SNES, which is my preferred version, played the PS version as well, and enjoyed the added cutscenes. Never bothered with the DS version, or the DS in general. My favorite character was Frog, just because he's a damn frog man. What more do you want? Might I suggest a different game to discuss? I'm afraid that Chrono Trigger has been talked about to death.
For anyone wondering, the artist's name is Akira Toriyama, and as stated before, drew and "wrote" Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Sand Land, as well as doing the art design for the Dragon Quest games.
3. A classic, though I find that the re-playability is fairly low. Once you beat all the side quests, the alternate endings are all that's left, and I took them all out in the 2nd playthrough. Otherwise, a solid combat system, good art (if you like Akira Toriyama's art style, I mean) and fantastic music. I remember spending my entire 15th summer playing this game.
4. Besides, Japan is way more ready than people think they are. They aren't really supposed to have the stockpile of weapons that they have, but the US has sorta let them slide on it. So if anything, China is most likely to attack itself.
5. Looks like I gotta nerd it up in here... For starters, I want to quickly address the kryptonite issue. Green Kryptonite affects supes in the same way that high doses of radiation affects people. The reason it didn't affect the Krpytonians is because the planet wasn't radioactive until is was destroyed, thus Kryptonite. As for how Superman shaves, it's even cannon in the comics since the Golden Age that he uses his heat vision to shave. This is because he does have pinpoint precision with his heat vision due to his super vision, and he has complete control over the intensity of them due to the overwhelming amount of training he underwent for controlling his powers (which is why Supes can, say, give someone a hug safely and still smash a skyscraper). Also, his "Invincibility" comes from a Kinetic barrier that his body produces. Superman is entirely capable of making his heat vision strong enough to penetrate the barrier. Once past it, burning the hairs off is entirely possible. At most, he gives himself slight 1st degree burns, and due to his accelerated healing, he is able to recover from almost instantly. I really don't feel like citing all of this so look it up if you guys don't believe me. This is a childhood of comics, movies and cartoons that I'm basing this off of. And I don't even really like Superman Edit: In case anyone is curious, the other types of common kryptonite are Red Kyptonite, Blue Kryptonite, and Gold Kryptonite. Red causes a Kryptonian to go insane due to over saturation of power (Post Crisis has Red Krptonite making his skin transparent, and unable to filter solar radiation). Blue Kryptonite, depending on which version, is most often used to increase Superman's powers in the same way that Green Kryptonite powers up Bizzaro. Gold Kryptonite is by far the most dangerous, as it cuts off a Kryptonian's ability to absorb solar energy permanently, effectively taking their powers away for good. Also, Kryptonite is really damn rare. Like, the Kryptonite Ring that Lex Luthor wore cost him over One Million dollars in the 70's. Not that easy to get.
6. Fulfilling a term of duty grants American Soldiers the GI bill which pays for a good chunk, if not all of college. And coming from a guy who went through the boot camp, they are good skills to learn all the same. Again, on topic. I just don't see this as being that terribly big of a deal. China has a lot of manpower, but comparably little resources. Even if they have the plans to build, and the resources to build, they cannot possibly manufacture enough of the weapons they stole to compete with the United States' stockpile of weapons that they don't even show anybody. Just more scare tactics to make news.

Nostalgia

Has anyone ever had a bout of nostalgia that just made them crumble? Like, something from your childhood beating your balls with your own emotions kinda crumble. Just had that moment myself. Needed a brain scrub after being tricked into reading the F.A.T.A.L. rulebook (if you don't know what that is, count yourself lucky...) So I decided to watch the single most innocent movie that managed to catch my eye at that moment. And that movie was "Puff the Magic Dragon" and dear Christ does that cartoon tug at the heartstrings of those unprepared for it. Granted, from what I can tell, most people here are a little too young to remember it, but those that do often only saw it once as little kids and forgot about it. For the uninitiated, the song, though often falsely stated to be about drugs, is about childhood wonder, and growing out of it. The cartoon is about much the same thing, though it adds the theme of being afraid, connecting it to a fear of growing up. And that's my story of nostalgia kicking me while I'm down. How about you guys? Anyone have crippling nostalgia memories? Or am I the only insane person here. If that's the case, then for shame. Sanity sucks.
8. Yeah, then maybe it won't be another clone of the first game.
I hate halo...
9. Same here, though I get a bit more artillery flying above me. The deserts out here are a popular training ground for the F15's and Black Hawks. Once in a while, I see an Apache from time to time. Black Hawks are cool and everything, but an Apache Longbow is the real scary shit.
10. How many of those will be Kinect 2 games, I wonder?
11. Couldn't find the clip I was looking for, but I'm pretty sure Beavis and Butthead already showed me what the future looks like. Xbone just isn't part of it.
The clip I mentioned is from "Beavis and Butthead do Christmas" in the Christmas Carol sketch. Fans will know what I'm talking about
12. So I guess Microsoft is trying to back-pedal most of their stuff, saying that the Kinect 2 isn't really always on. But we'll see if that is true or not. MS has a way of... what's the word I'm looking for... Oh yes, lying! Microsoft has a way of lying to their customers. So any defense they have, I'm taking with a grain of salt. And frankly, nothing they say will get me to buy their shit anymore. I'm simply sick of their two-faced crap. Listen, Bill, just because Jobs is dead, doesn't mean you get to be the new him. You're evil enough already without adding the anti-christ to your being. Exaggeration? Of course! But things aren't fun if you keep them proportional to reality.
13. Summer stopped meaning anything to me six years ago when I stopped going to school. The only real difference now is instead of freezing my ass off, I'm roasting my ass off. Wonders of living in a desert, you get two seasons: Hot and Cold. Pretty much business as usual for me. I guess I might get festive and wear shorts or something.
14. Here's one for those of us who remember the old school days back before the interwebz. Back when everyone was just starting to get used to the internet, and everyone and their dog made their own shitty website, usually through geocities, or anglefire. But those shitty sites aren't what grind my gears, oh no sir. Those were simply a symptom of entering a new medium. No, what bugged the ever loving hell out of me was when people would constantly use the black background with red text... It's something you often forget is so bad until you look at it. Still no big deal, the text is comprehensive, everything is clear and the colors match each other nicely for the most part... Now let me just check my e-mail and OHGODCONTRAST! Gets me every damn time!
15. It's not 1982? Man, I really need to cut down on the drugs...
