tl;dr: Love's cool, I guess. My story: Story goes from August 1st, 2012 - Now (Relationship is August 8th, 2012 - Now) Alright, here we go! On August 1st last year I started dating this girl named Selena. I'll stick with first names here, I don't see a problem with that. Anyway, we started dating. I knew her for about a year at the time, and she was a pretty cool kid. She was cute, so I asked her out. I didn't see her for the next few days, but we talked a lot via texting and it was fun. August 4th came (I'm strange with remembering dates) and I went to go see her at the fair. She would dye her hair a lot, silly colors so I was only going on what she described. She wasn't there alone, she was there with around 7 friends. I walked up to her ad hugged her without seeing her face. It turns out I hugged the wrong girl. It was a very awkward moment. I was just there hugging a random girl that I've never met before while my girlfriend was walking up to me. Selena said to me, "So I see you've met Chloe". Selena was laid back so she didn't care. She even roamed off a few times which was a sign that we wouldn't last. I didn't mind it though. I started talking to Chloe there at that fair. We walked around trying to find Selena the whole time and found some rides to ride. I soon started to realize how awesome she was. As the fair came to an end we found Selena, I gave her a kiss and said my goodbyes. Soon after, I was dumped by Selena. I didn't mind at all. I went home and added Chloe on facebook. She didn't really live near me (30 minutes by car) so we talked there for a while. I got her number and we started texting. I remember the first thing I ever said to her after the fair was, "Selena didn't tell me she had such cute friends :x". After a few days (August 8th), after talking to Chloe for days straight, I decided to ask her out. She said yes. I was so happy. I've always been that guy that was "too sweet" when girls wanted a bad boy, and she was the girl who always wanted somebody to treat her right. We went to the pool that wednesday. While there, I met her mom, who didn't seem to like me at the time. I liked Chloe a lot. She was seriously the only thing I could think about. The next time I saw her was at her little sister's birthday party. The party was at a skating rink, and Chloe couldn't skate to save her life. So me, being a big manly man, guided her. It was very cute seeing her try and fail miserably. Skipping ahead--- Months went by and we didn't fight once. It came to my attention that this might be something serious. Another thing came to mind. I was starting to actually love this girl. I'm not the kind of guy that says, "I love you" after a week into a relationship. I took my time with this and 3 months later I finally told her how I felt. It turns out she felt the same way. It was an amazing day indeed. Christmas came, and I had to do something. I took her ice skating, where she failed miserably again. I still found it very cute. After ice skating I took her to a movie, then took her shopping. I got early birthday money and decided to blow a majority of it on her. I don't regret it a single bit. Her eyes when I got these things for her, no, nothing is better than that. In return I got a teddy bear, but I'm not much for material objects anyway. The fact that it was a gift from her was enough to get me very happy. Chloe--- Chloe is cool. She is cute, adorable even. She's clingy, which I love. Call me weird but I'd rather have someone who cares enough to want to talk to me all of the time than someone who wants to say something to me once a day. She is the silliest girl I've ever met. She has the same taste in music as me, which is any rock from punk to deathcore. inb4 haters, I could care less though. She is also very sweet. I don't feel like bragging anymore about how cool she is, so yeah. March and so on! This is when I discovered PokeMMO. That was back in my, "What are IVs and EVs" day. I never worked with them before PokeMMO. I guess you can say I became a no life, but I still saw her a lot. Actually, she was probably the only reason I left my house. That is, other than school. In April, it was about the same. Of course, being with her was still amazing. We always have things to talk about since she's pretty random, so things have never really been boring for us. I really need to get her into PokeMMO someday, but I honestly she's not good with computers. I'll have to help her a bit. Present day! Today we're still going strong. In over a year we've never had a fight. I guess we're what you'd call an ideal couple. I'm not here to brag, but I wouldn't trade a single day with her. I wrote too much. My fingers hurt. If you have read through, you now know something about my life. Congratulations!

The Team Tournament for August never happened due to the lack of referees available. The Team Tournament requires at least six refs to run two team matches (2 x 3 = 6) at a time, whereas most other tournaments require four. On top of this, this tournament is 50% larger than most (3 x 16 = 48). With that being said, referees must know they will be available the whole time, and with it being OU 6v6 and 48 contestants, many referees cannot stay the whole time. Now, to answer your question, no. The Team Tournament for August will not be redone. I don't feel it would be fair to the winning team to be in the Hall of Fame for everyone to see for only a few weeks, whereas others have been there for 1-2 months. To everyone else--- I appreciate the feedback and I will take it into account with next month's tournament. Whether it's me hosting or somebody else, we will reference this thread on your feedback (please don't complain, but normal feedback is nice). I personally felt that enough teams out there had many competitive players that enjoy UU. Isn't the point of being a great trainer to take what you have and use it to the best of your ability? Keep the feedback coming in a professional manner please. Instead of, "this sucks!!" try something like, "I don't like this. Here are reasons why---". It comes across a lot easier to staff, and instead of feeling insulted we will probably agree with you. That is, if it is logical. We appreciate the feedback as it helps us improve on the way these tournaments are run. You are the playerbase, you make the game happen. Of course we want you guys to be happy. Help us help you.

It's not very much like the movies, but there are similarities. At my original school, there were still groups such as jocks, nerds, ect. They even acted just like the movies (jocks thinking their better than anyone, nerds being shy and awkward). The thing the movies leave out is the classes, which aren't very fun at all. Also, no school is so happy-go-lucky as in the movies. America is facing economic problems, and due to this most schools are dirty and even face structural problems. That is, unless you live in a large city, have a newer high school, or have a 3/4-A (largely populated) school since the state seems to actually focus on them. tl;dr: In some ways, it's like the movies. In others, not at all.

Hm, although I've never heard of such a system, it sounds very interesting. Well, don't worry. I also spend around 6 and a half hours in school (8:00 AM - 2:25 PM), but I simply have very long classes. :P

My first day of school hasn't happened yet. I go back on the 26th (next Monday), but I'm glad. I love my school. It hasn't happened yet, but I'll tell you how I expect it to be. My School Well, first I should say that my High School is also a Technical School, so I have an "Academic Week" and a "Skill Week". Basically, I'm doing college level work there and can get certified to do things. I currently go there for IT & Networking, in preparation for college where I will go for Computer Science. Upon graduation at my school, I'll take the test to get my CompTIA A+ Certification. I will also get many college credits out of the way at this school. "Academic Week" Well, Academic Week is pretty boring like any other school. I know all of my teachers, so I can expect what the first day will be like. I'll take the bus to school, being greeted by the new principle (My IT teacher's wife) then say hi to old friends that I haven't seen in a while. I'll then go to period 1 (there are 4 at my school). That period will be English IV, where the teacher is pretty nice. Depending on the people in my class I will determine whether it will be a fun year or not. I guess the same can be said for periods 2-3 (Financial Literacy, Honors Computer Logic). 4th period will be a fun period, as it will contain all of my classmates from last year. The class is Honors IT & Networking and everyone in it is an internet nerd. In the class we will be told what to expect for the year. We will then go on to work on PCs in the school in need of fixing, whether it be hardware or software related. "Skill Week" Ah, Skill Week, the reason I love the school so much. Periods 1-3 (8:00 AM - 12:45 PM)are all one class; IT & Networking. During that class on the first day we will likely dive right into fixing computers. The teacher has already had all of us for one year and knows we have the knowledge to do most things. I'll get to see my old friend, Aiden, again. The guy is hilarious, and knows more about computers than I could ever >.> I'm jealous. It was in this class last year that I could play PokeMMO almost all day and surf the forums. Anyway, onto 4th period (12:50 PM- 2:25 PM). Period 4 is Computer Literacy. I honestly do not like the teacher. He is also my Honors Computer Logic teacher but that doesn't change the fact. He has been known in the past to beat his wife, and I honestly don't like it. Honors Computer Literacy, hm, I'm honestly not sure how the first day will be, so I'm ending it here. There, you know a bit about my life.
