  1. Pokemon sizes were selected that way because of the intentions of the mod. It uses a formula that curves off of their true height from the pokedex and was further tweaked by the community. If you're looking for a mod that uses a normalized system, I recommend Verdep's
  2. Unfortunately, yes. It looks like you downloaded all of the files for every version. If you don't follow the instructions carefully, you will have these conflicts. You need to pick which version of the mod you want and follow the instructions in that section. If you don't want to decide, you can get rid of everything except the 2.2Base and the Simple. Those will give you my prefered options.
  3. I don't know anything about how the particle effects work in this game or if they can be modified. I also don't see a particle effect on your screenshot, except for the rain. Is there a specific particle effect on a Pokemon or a game particle that you are trying to adjust?
  4. When the Pokemon are oversized like that, there is either another battlesprite mod conflicting, or you missed something in the instructions for downloading this one. If you post your mod list we can see what you didn't download or what extra mods you have.
  5. Valid post. Love the Archetype Team. Wanted to add in the realm of gifs that allowing .apng or other loseless high-quality animated video formats will allow lower file sizes and better quality sprites. This applies to Battlesprites, followers, heck, even themes. GIF is outdated and surpassed by just about every other format. But of course, the other issues you mentioned have been around for years and would be heaven-sent for a fix. Just my two cents.
  6. There are no text files in the base zip. You need to continue with the instructions and download a zip based on what size you want the Pokemon to be. There are multiple options, as seen in the instructions: small, large, capped, and uncapped. This is designed to give you the choice to have the mod as customized as you want based on the options available. I couldn't tell you which zip to modify because I don't know which size you downloaded and wanted alterations to.
  7. There are multiple zips that make up the mod. If you don't see it in one part, try a different one.
  8. The official documentation for modding is right here.
  9. I don't understand. You downloaded the standard definition, high definition, and shiny hunter versions, as well as sprites from another mod called Mega Sprites - Y. You need to pick which mod and which version you want and follow the instructions.
  10. It should follow the order in the instructions. If you post a shot of your mod list, we can extrapolate the issue.
  11. "The saturation was increased in Unity during shader creation." I don't mean we all did it together. I meant I handled the models, texture maps, alpha maps, bump maps, VFX shaders, etc in a program called Unity. It is a 3D rendering program. This is what all of the 3D sprite mods use, because the sprites don't already exist in a way that they can be used in this game. Sorry to break it. But it's months of dedicated hours to make. That's why there aren't a bunch of these mods on the forums.
  12. Yes, the saturation was increased by 15%, I believe. The community in charge of designing the mod wanted to move away from the faded, desaturated look of newer games and regain the vibrancy of the old-gen games. The saturation was increased in Unity during shader creation. However, you can do as Budadeth said and use any program that can edit GIFs and lower the saturation. I believe it was 15%, so start by lowering it by that much. There are a lot of GIFs; I recommend using a batch program or a photoeditor that has batching built in. Good luck.
  13. I made that model and a few others in Blender with a concept to do that exact thing. The issue is that it looks oddly out of place in the current cartoonish game There isn't enough desire for realistic Pokemon in PokeMMO. My mod is currently the highest definition on the forums and the more pixelated 2D are still the most downloaded. If the entire game were overhauled with higher-res textures or better shadows, this could be a worthwhile portfolio project. As it stands now, it is too time-consuming, and the desire is too small to continue with that project.
  14. This is a common PokeMMO issue that happens with a lot of mods based on patch/device and file size. If you keep trying, it will eventually go through. I have tested that in the past and know that it can work. Your other solution is to go with a community version from someone on the forums like Budadeth. However, I can't troubleshoot or guarantee the validity of anything that isn't from the original download links.
  15. The old version without gender has been deleted. I do not have the cloud space to keep it around. The files were quite large and I received too many complaints about the file size. However, the Large version of this mod uses the exact same scaling sizes as the old mod. The GIFs are still compressed to save space (only 65% of the original size), so you may see grain on the sprites (downside of GIF over APNG). But the size is the same.
  16. Lo siento, pero es demasiado temprano aquì para pensar en español. Voy a explicar en ingles. Download the Base File. This file is only GIFs and will not work by itself. You downloaded the "Base" as shown in your screenshots. That is good. As this message states, it will not work by itself. You must follow the rest of the installation instructions. Then Choose ONE of the choices to continue installing. Under that message there are two choices. Small and Large. Small is the new smaller version. Large uses the same formula as the old mod with bigger sprites. There are screenshots along the way to show what you are getting. From there, you must continue to read and follow the underlined instructions as you go. For most of the options, the instructions end fairly quickly and you can get to playing the game. The more complicated you want your modifications to be, the more complicated the instructions. Please re-read the installation instructions and if you still have trouble, post a screenshot of your mod list, like you did in the last photo. With that photo we can see what you did wrong in the installation. Enjoy
  17. ¿Qué versión estás usando? Muéstranos capturas de pantalla y deja claro dónde está el problema. Es posible que haya omitido algún paso durante la instalación.
  18. if you delete the female gifs and remove the -m from the male versions it will work for both male and female.
  19. They are designed to be modular without needing to be unzipped or combined. (If you decide you don't want standing charizard you can replace it with flying without having to redownload and replace all of the other files.) However, You downloaded the "Simple" version and all of the "Customized" addons. The HDRelodedSimple is for people who don't want to customize their Charizard, Cyndaquil, and size caps. You will have conflicts with it.
  20. From the looks of it, your missing a step in the installation procedure or one of your downloads was corrupted and isn't showing on your mod list. If you go over the installation instructions again or post your mod management list you'll probably see what is missing.
  21. I do not host older versions of the mod. I use free versions of MediaFire and Mega for other purposes and need the space. It is also impossible to deal with bug fixes when people have multiple versions, I tried that once on here and it failed in 24 hours. As far as making them. The 3d models and animations were taken from the 3DS games X & Y, converted to FBX through Blender, and then put into Unity. The textures were taken from SW&SH as well as Let's Go Pikachu. The pokemon without HD textures in those games were made by hand in Krita. All pokemon with VFX had custom effects made by hand using Unity's VFX Graph. The pokemon that were approved by the community were kept, and the rest were restored to a more 2013 style.
  22. Of course there is. The original HD Wailord GIF from version 1.0 was 4.41MB. The new version is only 1.88MB. Which is ~43% of the previous size. Amazing! That compression of "noisy" GIF over 2820 something GIFs is a huge difference in mod size. I posted that there was a new compression in the patch notes. Which was the majority of complaints I received about the mod. The amount of complaints I receive about the "noise" is negligable. It is impossible to make a mod that I'm happy with that pleases every other person on the internet. I've become desensitized to trying. If you like the older version, use that. I'm sure it's posted somewhere in this thread surrounded by complaints on how people can't get the big file size to work on android and community people trying to split the filesize into smaller files. Then there are pages of people complaining they can't get the split files to work. Good Luck, Have Fun.
  23. No, no puedo.
  25. I recommend reading patch notes. Everything is described there and can save you the headache of downloading and working with a version of a mod that has changes you don't like.
