  1. Also a tip for those who happen to choose Charizard and Dragonite vs. Entei and Arcanine. On the 1st turn, have Dragonite use Toxic on Entei while Charizard uses Rock Slide to hopefully make one or both of them flinch, and then Rain Dance on the 2nd turn. (Or 3rd, if you choose to poison Arcanine as well.) In the event that they use Fire-type attacks, the strength will be cut by 1/2. If/when the rain stops, just use Rain Dance again. During the rain, just bombard them with Rock Slide and Aqua Jet/Dragon Breath combos. KO Arcanine 1st, since Entei really isn't strong at all. After that, Entei's a sitting duck. It may even faint on the same or following 2 turns, due to Rock Slide/Aqua Jet/poison damage. :3.
  2. Yeah. If it is the cause, that's kind of ironic. The thing that's suppose to make it faster is making it lag instead. XD. But hopefully that feature will be what resolves this issue. If you need me to test anything out that's Mac-related in the future, please feel free to let me know. :3.
  3. I'd like to provide a little update to this topic, as I had been experiencing this issue as well. (Every single step took me about 2-3 seconds to take. XD.) Although it isn't really recommended, I downgraded my client back to the version that was released back in around September of 2016. I went into both my /Library and ~/Library folders, went to Application Support, and deleted both of the folders for "PokéMMO" and re-installed the 2016 revision from scratch. I'm not sure if it's the revision itself that did it, or the fresh re-install that did it, but I am now able to play through Unova with almost no lag whatsoever. So if anyone's still experiencing this issue, and really wants to play through Unova, this option is the best I could figure out for now. I'm not sure how far in the revision chain the lag started becoming an issue for Macs, so there may be a more recent revision this will work on as well. But I wanted to post this solution so that other Mac users can enjoy the entirety of "PokéMMO" once again. And hopefully it may also give the Admins some insight as to if there is something about the mentioned version that could be used to resolve this issue on future revisions. I hope this post helps. :3. Edit.: Almost immediately after typing that, it did start to lag for me a little bit again. It still isn't anywhere near as bad as before, though. :3. Edit 2.: I found the file that seems to be causing the lag. The file called "region-models-2.bin" seems to be a pre-caching file that is created for some of the models, and is classified as a MacBinary archive. When I deleted this file, closed and re-opened the client, the client pre-cached some of the models again. After that, the game played very well for a good 10 or so minutes before starting to lag again. After that, I repeated this step, and it went away again. So unfortunately, it looks like we'll have to keep doing this process every 10 or so minutes if we want to play on Macs. I'm not really sure why that file is bogging the client down. Unless it's got something to do with what Desu stated beforehand. :3.
  4. Arigatou for letting me know. :3.
  5. I'm currently looking for a price evaluation for my HP Grass Blaziken, as I have someone who is interested in it.: To anyone who gives me a price evaluation, arigatou beforehand. :3.
  6. To put it bluntly, I don't see this happening. In the first place, you wouldn't be available 24/7. Life will get in the way, making it impossible for all players to obtain their money whenever they need. Secondly, everybody would prefer to simply have their money securely on their own accounts, rather than risk transferring their money to a random user. If you simply left the game, and/or decided to try and scam them out of their money, the staff wouldn't have a reliable log of who traded you what, making it impossible for them to mediate on the matter. So the players would lose all of the money they deposited. Even if you kept a log in "Google Docs"/"Microsoft Excel," there's no way of knowing for sure if what was listed would be 100% accurate. Lastly, assuming you'd have a lot of people even considering to do this, it'd be difficult to keep track of hundreds to thousands of deposit and withdrawal transactions on a daily basis. That'd burn anyone out in an instant. To make it to where a bank would be useable in-game, it'd have to be done via an NPC. No other method would work. And even then, banks really wouldn't have a big use, since the majority of the players won't hit the money cap (If there even is one. Not sure, myself.) for "PokéMMO." Pretty much the only use a bank would have is a loan system with a cap that wouldn't affect the economy too much (Such as something like 100k - 250k.), with a percentage of the money being paid back into the loan every time you beat an NPC, get money from PayDay, sell something on the GTL, etc.. However, even that has its own issues. Biggest one being that (Setting the loan cap to the side for now.) someone could take out a loan to purchase something expensive from the GTL, only to transfer their purchase to an entirely separate character/account, bypassing the pay-back feature. So as you can see, even that can be easily abused to completely destroy the economy, making it a terrible idea to implement. So, in my personal opinion, the money system is fine how it is, with players managing their money on their own. I hope you find my response useful. :3.
  7. Yes. If someone tells you where you may be able to obtain an illegal copy of a ROM, that would also be considered as helping to facilitate the distribution of ROMs. You'll simply have to learn how to obtain a compatible ROM all on your own. I hope you find this response useful, and wish you the best of luck on obtaining one. :3.
  8. *Edited, as I no longer have the Pokémon I posted about. :3.*
  9. One thing you'll have to keep in mind is the exchange rate for different types of currency. The currency that RP pricing is based off of is USD. So if you use a different currency, like the Argentine Peso, then you'll have to figure out what you'd wind up paying at the end after conversion. To do this, you can type in the currency you use to USD in "Google," and it'll give you a section to input values. To give you an idea, though, I did so using the Argentine Peso as the original currency. $1752.10 ARS would roughly equal $100 by today's exchange rate. So $1752.10 ARS should get you 10,000 RP. Whether or not taxes or fees will be deducted from the transaction, though, I have no idea. So that's something you'll have to find out on your own, unless someone else knows for sure. That aside, I hope you find this response useful. :3.
  10. From last year's event, I got these Vanity Items.: 5 Scythes, a Scary Hockey Mask, 4 Black Cat Ears, and 3 Candy Horns. For regular items, I got some Lava Cookies, Rare Candies, TMs for Shadow Ball, and a few other items I can't remember off the top of my head. :3.
  11. Green fits very nicely on Shiny Beedrill. :3.:
  12. The offer on the Naive Ditto sounds good to me. However, the offer for the Quirky Ditto seems too low for me, as the IVs on it are extremely high. Whisper me in-game for the Naive Ditto. My username is the same as it is here. :3.
  13. I'm open to a wide variety, as long as they're perfect breeds. (For example, 5-6x31s or 5-6x30-31s with HP typing.) Although, at the moment, I don't have enough PokéDollars to purchase one, I am up for trading/offering my services in exchange. :3.
  14. Yellerp, everyone. Welcome to my shop, where you can view my Pokémon/items that are for sale, EV-Training/Level-Training services, breeding services, and my wishlist. :3. General Topic Rules.: Please be sure to read this section before posting in my topic.: Store.: Pokémon Ditto.: 2x31s.: Death God Ditto.: 1x31s and Breeder Ditto with Great/Amazing IVs: Whisper me in-game to see them, since there are far too many to list here. :3. Beldum.: 3x31 Adamant.: 1x31 Adamant.: Eevee.: TMs.: Berries/Seeds.: Training Services: (Do not mail me your Pokémon and/or the payment before we even agree on anything. This is to minimize the risk of the possibility of losing track of your Pokémon.) Also, please be sure to fill out the template provided. If no template is used, or is missing information, I will not accept your request until it is fixed.: Template.: Pokémon.: EVs.: Level-Training?: Moves To learn.: Moves To Keep.: Evolve?: (If the Pokémon being requested has multiple evolutions, and/or isn't a level-up evolution, you'll have to evolve it yourself. Tyrouge, Feebas, Poliwhirl, Slowpoke, etc.) Extra Information.: (Not required unless necessary.) Rules.: Standard EV-Training Services: (No Amnesia Brace.) EV-Training.: 25k per fully/almost-fully EV-Trained stat (If a request requires more than 2 stats to be EV-Trained, extra fees may occur. For example, an EV set of something like HP 98, Atk 252, and Speed 160 would have a fee of 25k for Atk, but also a 25k fee for Speed, and a 12.5k fee for HP. If it were something like HP 129, Atk 252, Speed 129, it'd be 12.5k for the HP and Speed. If the EV-Training + Level-Training option is selected, this part will be waived.) EV-Training + Level-Training to Lvl. 50.: 100k (If a stat is already EV-Trained, I'll calculate a reduction in the fee which reflects that.) Advanced EV-Training: (Using Amnesia Brace to keep the Pokémon being trained at the same level.) Lvl. 50 and up.: 75k per fully/almost-fully EV-Trained stat. 15. I'm currently in need of some Very Spicy Seeds, and am looking to get 100-200 of them. Here's a screenshot of the seeds I currently have. :3.: I'm up to offers, as long as it doesn't make me run out of a particular type. For example, 99 Very Spicy Seeds for 83 Very Dry Seeds + 17 of whatever else. :3.
  16. I agree that the PP usage/amount could use a small alteration. That remaining 2 PP makes my OCD act up. XD. I think making Sweet Scent use 4 PP would probably be better and be a more-likely route that the DEVs may look at, as it mathematically fits with both the base 20 PP and maxed out 32 PP, leaving you with no remaining PP. That way, you'd get 5 uses at the base amount, and 8 uses at maximum, which is only 2 additional uses for both base and maxed PP. So it isn't too much of a boost that it affects things dirastically. On top of that, it saves them from having to alter the actual PP amounts for Sweet Scent. :3.
  17. One reason why it may have felt that way was because you may have hatched two different species of Pokémon. One taking longer to hatch, as it's more rare than the other. For example, a Relicanth egg will take far longer than a Magikarp egg to hatch. As notmudkip0 stated, though, Pokémon with Magma Armor/Flame Body must be first in your party for the abilities to work in the overworld. This applies to all other abilities that have an out-of-battle effect as well. (Provided their out-of-battle effects are implemented to begin with.) I hope you find this response useful. :3.
  18. Although it's unknown if this will be done by the "PokéMMO" staff (Or, more accurately, Darkshade. XD.), you could create a MOD where the shiny sprites have been personalized to your liking and install it. :3.
  19. If this is a screenshot of DrMissingo's encounter with a Shiny Cyndaquil, they caught it. :3.
  20. I can definitely see how this would be a little bit useful, as it gives them another indication that they've run into a shiny. Although, I feel that the usefulness would be extremely limited as people tend to run away from shinies simply because they aren't paying enough attention to what they're doing to begin with. Even with a shiny Pokémon whose colors aren't too different from their regular appearance, the name including "Shiny" in both the battle notification and on the HP bar should be enough notice. Rather than have it show a list of each Pokémon that appears in a horde, though, I think it'd be a much simpler solution for it to include "SHINY" in the horde notification. That way, you'd see the notification say "A wild SHINY horde appeared!" If it showed a list of each Pokémon that appeared, there'd be a pretty good amount of time being pointlessly wasted, making horde battles a lot more time-consuming. And as most of us know, we've got enough people saying that battles take too long as-is. In the end, with what I stated, you've still got that extra notification that a horde contains a shiny, while also keeping the time being consumed by the notification the same as it currently is. :3.
  21. To clarify how egg moves are passed, the only Pokémon who matters in determining which egg moves are passed is the species of Pokémon the offspring will be. In most cases, the female parent's starting species. (The exclusion being parents who can produce different species of Pokémon as offspring, such as Nidoran and Illumise for example. Since they can produce alternate offspring, the chance of all the egg moves being compatible will most-likely not be the same. That is, unless the egg moves that are trying to be passed are compatible with both offspring. For example, Beat Up, Poison Tail, Skull Bash, and Disable being compatible with both Nidoran M & F, while only Nidoran M can learn Amnesia and Confusion.) Simply put, if a move is incompatible with the offspring's species, then that egg move will not be passed. Since Growlithe can learn Morning Sun as an egg move, any Pokémon in the Field egg group that knows Morning Sun can pass Morning Sun to Growlithe. Whether it be a male Smeargle, Espeon, Nidoran M, Ponyta, or another Growlithe. Also, if you bred an egg move Pokémon with a Ditto, those egg moves will be transferred to the offspring as well. I hope this helps. :3.
  22. My friend Crimar sent me this screenshot. My Shiny Nidoran M is also apparently a Shiny Sapphire. :3.: .
  23. Moves that can cause flinching need to occur before the opposing Pokémon attacks. If a flinching move occurs after the opposing Pokémon attacks, then it'll act as any other move, with no added effect. The move Fake Out will always hit first, however. So if you wish for a move to cause your opponent to flinch just about every time, with the exception of Pokémon with the ability Inner Focus, I'd suggest learning Fake Out. (It only works on the first turn a Pokémon is on the battlefield, however. So once you use it, that's it until you switch out and back in a Pokémon with Fake Out.) As an alternative, you could give a Pokémon a King's Rock and have it use a priority move like Quick Attack, which will also give you a chance of making your opponent flinch with any damaging move. I hope this helps. :3.
