It keeps saying error 1005 access denied when I try to go to the website. And when I try to download the new update it says there was an error downloading updates. Auto updates may be currently unavailable. Any solutions?

ok so i did my trade evolutions and i am now 596/602 on my OT dex. I only have 6 more mons to catch and i'm done. The problem is they are emolga, audino, swanna/evo, alomamola, and feebas... Do any of you guys have any tips, tricks or suggestions to catch the special mons?

I am finally almost done with my OT Pokédex With just about 30 more mons to complete it. About half of these are trade evos. So my question is if I trade my OT scyther and it evolves with somebody else and is then sent back to me, Will my evolved scizor be recorded as my own OT scizor in that nice green colored OT box in the Pokédex or will it still be blue? Do I have to make the scyther evolve in my own party for it to be counted as my own OT?

Hi everybody, I just started playing this game again recently and just wanted to throw out 2 ideas I've been thinking about. The first is that I would like to see vanity items to be untradeable someday. Actually just having all items found in the gift shop that you can buy with real money to be unsellable and untradeable would be nice. I am only saying this because I feel like it is unfair to be able to spend money in real life and then just get super rich in the game without even having to play lol. I am saying this because I brought 4 doctor plague masks on the gift shop during that Halloween 2 or 3 years ago. I got 2 white and 2 black masks and now combined it's all worth like $250 million. AND it's only going up! there are plenty of vanity items like this and it requires no playtime or anything to get rich in this game or have other valuable items now. I know I'm kind of a hypocrite because i literally did it myself and got pretty rick in 2 years, but honestly, I would even be willing to lose the money i got from the sold ones and just have to keep the ones I didn't sell as locked items so the game is more fair. I'm sure others have thought the vanity item stuff is unfair too, and I have heard that the reason they allow this to happen is because it helps the game get donations and money that it needs. I understand there are funds you guys need and that mods do a great job here, but don't you think it's more fun for everyone if the game was more fair and leveled out in this regard? Personally, I do, and that's why I wanted to make this suggestion. My second suggestion is a shorter one. Can we please make transform rules for ditto's catch rate regular again. I feel like shiny hunting doing the egg process is already a very long a difficult process. did we really have to make catching dittos and farming them into so much work? is there any chance i can just use false swipe with my swablu, have ditto transform, and then use a $200 pokeball on that ditto transformed into a swablu and always catch it on my firsst try? xD This might be unreasonable to some but i would love to farm dittos at a faster and cheaper rate, even if that means the values of dittos themselves go down.

are you just asking because you need an flying hm slave? if so you could always get a fly ocarina. but yea in general there are some weird things in the pokemon games in general. like how gyarados is a flying type i still ask to this day.

Hey I just got a new laptop and started playing this game again. the last time i played was the halloween event and I saved up some white and black plague masks because they looked sweet and they were limited to the halloween event. I just wanted to know what the current values are for each color and if you guys think the values are gonna go up even more. I remember the flaming skull masks used to be like 1m and now they are like 80-100m. Also on a side note is this fair? I'm just asking because it seems like vanity items can be worth as much as a shiny charizard and people can farm them by paying money to the game. Not trying to call out the game developers this is an awesome game but is this something that anyone has talked about before? the ridiculous amount of value that certain vanity items have i mean.

it's not a banned strategy it's just that there are strategies to beat the gyms way faster. My favorite is a rain team pelipper kingdra ludicolo all have surf and then maybe one more sweeper. Some people also like to use torkoal and typhlosion with eruption and i think you can do tyranitar or hippowdown with excadrill sand rush and earthquake. These would all be faster ways of defeating the gyms than the destiny bond strategy. but no to answer the main question it's not banned just that there are better and faster ways to beat the gyms. especially now that amulet coin is consumable and it runs out after one hour.

Yea it’s not supposed to be super easy but a baton pass team with bulky strong hitters is probably the fastest way to win quickly and stack up money and BP. But it’s definitely still gonna take some time. There’s a guide on the forums too I think on beating the E4 and it tells you what teams they all have in each region.
