1. IGN: guigozord GYM LEADER
GYM LEADER BEATRIX Trainer Sprite Overworld Sprite Beatrix is a 22 years old girl who lives in Viridian City and is the Gym Leader of Viridian City’s Gym, known officially as the Viridian Gym. Her specialty is Bug-type Pokémon, and she gives the Nectar badge to trainers who defeat her in battle. Like all other Gym Leaders, Beatrix will leave her Gym from time to time. Every Thursday, Beatrix goes to Viridian Forest where she meets her friend Bugsy, the Gym Leader of Azalea Gym, to share new informations about Bug-type Pokémon. On Tuesdays and Saturdays Beatrix travels to Johto region to compete in the Bug-Catching Contest at National Park. Even if she has already won it many times, she loves the competition. She is also a part-time Police Officer. At night the Gym is closed and she patrols Viridian City and Viridian Forest.
GYM BADGE
Nectar Badge Kanto Badges
GYM LAYOUT
Outside the Gym Inside the Gym
GYM LEADER'S TEAM
First Match - Level 50 Rematch - Level 100 Strategy Pinsir: The investment in Attack and Speed, the Jolly nature and the item Choice Band makes Pinsir the most effective sweeper of the team. Earthquake and Rock Slide makes sure Pinsir is a threat to Rock, Fire and Flying-types Pokémon, so they can't switch in easily and take advantage of Pinsir's weaknesses. Earthquake and Rock Slide also provides a nearly perfect coverage. Superpower is a more powerful choice than Rock Slide to hit Pokémon that are immune or resist Rock and Ground; Skarmory and Breloom, for example. Fury Cutter is a fun move and hits Claydol hard if Pinsir has a good amount of HP. Claydol is immune to Ground and resist Rock and Fighting moves, so Fury Cutter can save Pinsir. Venomoth: Venomoth is the special attacker counterpart of Pinsir. It also plays the role of sweeper, but can't touch Steel-type Pokémon. Except for Steel-type Pokémon, Venomoth can attack hard with two STAB moves, Sludge Bomb and Signal Beam, all the other types. The physical attackers of the team can deal with the Steel-types. Armaldo: The Rock/Bug-type is a great defensive type. Rock-type annul the Fire and Flying weaknesses of Bug-type and Bug-type annul the Fighting and Ground weaknesses of Rock-type, making Armaldo the best choice to switch in moves that usually are super effective against Bug-type. The HP investment and the move Curse makes Armaldo a potential Physical Defense wall. The moves are identical to Pinsir's moves, except for Fury Cutter, so Armaldo can't touch Claydol. Besides Claydol, Armaldo fears Water-type Pokémon and Water moves, but Scizor can take these moves since it is Special Defensively invested. Scizor: The Steel/Bug type is also a great defensive type, but instead Water, Scizor fears Fire-type moves. The type with only one weakness and the HP/Special Defense investment makes Scizor a Special Defense wall. Superpower and Pursuit provides almost perfect coverage because Heracross is the only that resists both moves. Ledian: Ledian is the supporter of the team, setting up Reflect and Light Screen first and stalling with Knock Off and Toxic later. Forretress: Pretty much similar to Scizor, because is Special Defense invested, but Forretress' role is to stall with Spikes. Earthquake is a insurance against Magneton predicted switch in. Rapid Spin is a support move that eases Skarmory's dominance against Bug-type. Explosion makes sure Forretress takes a Pokémon with it before it faints.
GYM LEADER SCRIPT
First Match Before battle "[Challenger’s nickname], right? Our reputations precede us. I am Beatrix, the Queen Bee! Are you ready? It’s mercy, compassion, and forgiveness I lack. Not rationality. Your turn now." Being defeated "You are smart, make good decisions under pressure and came prepared. Those qualities make a good Pokémon trainer, but also a good Police Officer! You should join the Police Force and use your strength against criminals. Anyway, here is the Nectar Badge!" “The Nectar badge makes Pokémon of any level obey without question. I don’t have any TM to give you as a reward. You can bring me a Pokémon and I will teach it Signal Beam. Deal?” “You have a great future. If you have all the necessary badges, you should challenge the Pokémon League!” If the challenger is defeated "You didn’t think it was gonna be easy, did you? Oh, so silly. ‘Trix’ are for kids.” Rematch Before battle "You and I have unfinished business!" Being defeated "You already won my Nectar Badge, but you should use a Police Badge." If the challenger is defeated "I was wrong. You don’t have a future."
GYM TRAINERS BUG CATCHER BUTCH
Trainer Sprite Overworld Sprite Pokémon Team Script Before battle "We plant and collect our berries here, so we don’t have to buy them. This Gym is totally sustainable." Being defeated "I lost my watch here. If you find it, please let me know."
KIMONO GIRL OREN
Trainer Sprite Overworld Sprite Pokémon Team Script Before battle "I hope you saved your energy. If you haven’t… You may not last five rounds." Being defeated "For ridiculing you earlier, I apologize."
2. Oh, thank you. I will change my trainers' team then. :P
 3. @Noad It is not stated that we have to use only the Gym type in the trainers' teams. SlidingPanda used a Gardevoir in a Normal-type Gym. Are we allowed to use other types?
 4. Updated with Hoenn locations!
 5. Remove me of Rattata and put me in Machop.
 6. Well, replacing moves wrongly is the only thing I never did, because there is a warning before, saying that your pkm is learning a new move and blabla. But releasing the wrong pkm, using net and nest balls instead pokeball, being scammed, etc, I think we all have been there.
 7. My ign is guigozord. I have Onix and Rattata, but Rattata is very common so I didn't bother to mention. I don't have Excel, hue.
 8. Onix. I can't see the list, btw. Can you just write in a post?
 9. I just remembered of Mystery Box. How about putting some storyline TMs in the box?
 10. Well, they did it with Hidden Power, Frustration and Return. If you have a more creative idea please share with us. "the devs have stated multiple times that they don't want to do that" I did a fast research to check if there was a topic created with the same purpose and I didn't find nothing about the devs saying what they want or what they don't want. Can you link me the posts? Making alts to have access to storyline items is more boring than this. And I don't know what is up with the people when you say getting money to buy something is lazy.
 11. Suggestion: Add storyline TMs in Game Corner and Celadon Mart. Pros: - Discourages the creation of alt runs to get the TMs; - Money sink; The most valuable TMs in Game Corner for 6000 coins (like Hidden Power). The less valuable TMs in Celadon Mart for pokeyens. The idea is very simple, I don't have anything more to put so far. Opinions, please.

 13. Hey Rache, I didn't understand the disobedience levels yet. (I didn't make an alt yet) Badge0 10 -> 20 Badge1 20 -> 25 So in Cerulean Gym I can't use a pokémon at level 20 without risking disobedience? Or it is after level 25? It is for every pokémon or just traded ones?
 14. Yes, it involves the use of two roms. But the point is, Masterball is tradeable, so one player can trade one with another player. I don't consider it cheating if you can pass any item. If Masterball wasn't tradeable in the original games, that would be a different history.
 15. I believe Masterball isn't op in PokeMMO like it is in the original games, because it has only one use and is scarce. (sorry, repeating again) With the access to Masterball we could stop using Smeargle as lead, playing more freely and don't have to choose between losing a shiny or play with the lead that you want. It is already bad enough the lost shiny in Safari Zone. Like I already said, in the original games we can farm Masterball, therefore there is no worry about the leading pokémon. It is not absurd at all. I would love discuss with you if you stop offending me and calling me ignorant just because I disagree with you.
 16. Altering breeding isn't a ~entirely different concept~, it still makes the things easier to the players. The difference is it was more needed and had more impact in the gameplay. But both are the same concept. What I am suggesting isn't needed or urgent. It is about giving the option to the player buy a item if he feels the need. We have one move tutor in each character and now we will have renewable ones. The concept of a renewable resource isn't new and is being considered in other things. In the same way it doesn't have a lot of reasons to be implemented, it also doesn't have serious negative consequences. It is not a big deal. It won't change drastically the game, so why not? Also, some players suggested different sources to get a Masterball. If purchasing Masterball isn't a good idea, the other ideas could be used. Unless you really have something against Masterballs.
 17. Yes, the suggestion does make things easier for players, The point of a suggestion is benefit the players and judging an idea just because it makes harder or easier isn't a good reason, is a precipitate one. I will use as example the breeding mechanics. Before October 23rd the IV inheritance was way harder than is now. When the IV inheritance changed to -6 +3 the game became alive and a lot of people come back to play again or considered seriously. Something being easier isn't necessarily detrimental for the game. Suggestions aren't just to fix a serious problem, they can improve things too. If we keep thinking like that, the ideas come only from the devs and the players become just sheep without thinking in how to make the game better, hardly contributing with something. If someone stock up masterballs, he would have to spend a lot of money, and that would be his choice in how to spend his money. Bad management of money is the player problem and shouldn't be considered seriously. You are attacking me, being aggressive for no reason, instead just discussing like TheOriginal is doing. Your point of view is negative, thinking that making anything easier is bad. And you aren't being constructive at all, like other people did, suggesting a different way or building solid arguments. Probably being staff for a long time and then being "released" change the people in different ways. The players aren't your enemies and you don't need hate them, just saying. I am defending my idea and I expect people agree or disagree with me without unnecessary hating. Being or not being canon isn't an argument, I even ignored that part Rache said, because isn't a good reason to implement or not implement something, she just pointed a curious fact. If it is true or not, irrelevant. PokeMMO has canonical things and artificial things. I already pointed the reasons it could be implemented. If they aren't enough to you, provide a solid argument, you are repeating the same thing. "It shouldn't be this way" "it is not like the game" "it is not like the MMOs". I agree we can't compare the original games, but the players always do it, so I already made a counter argument in the OP. Useless, ofc, because you can note a lot of repeated answers. Also, I can use your own statement against you. "I was using canon as a reason against your suggestion." Counter argument: "we cannot compare it to the handheld games because this is a different entity entirely and with it being an MMO there are many things that will deviate from the handhelds."
