1. for a normal solo run why bother to even play on pokemmo? an emulator or the solid gameboy/DS would be enouth if one wanted to play alone here i'm talking about a multiplayer nuzlocke, not an alone one yup, agree a whole server may needlessy split more the playerbase, maybe just a special ruleset character(set during character creation) as suggested above and a dedicated channel for those? (it would be unfair to have someone jump between modes) it's not about being competitive or successful, it's about the experience and the increased immersion it gives
2. https://forums.pokemmo.eu/index.php?/topic/52680-changelog-01042015/#entry1026941 so the prank update actually made me think about having a channel with permadeath how many would be interested in a channel where each time a pkmn faints it "dies" ? just wonder how pvp would need to be managed if a server like that existed edit. changed the title from "server" to "channel", since as pointed out below a whole server would be to much to manage and would just split the player base
3. agree with the idea too, but i'm more interested in having the catch location visible an old thread with a similar suggestion https://forums.pokemmo.eu/index.php?/topic/5444-the-ipokedex-the-pokedex-that-does-everything/
4. "Add a "seen" pokemon's location on the map (Not urgent as it's difficult but it needs done eventually.)" not urgent? with all the catch rates messed up by the merge of data from fire red and leaf green, plus all the event pokemons, that's usually the only reason i do open a pokedex at all, to see where to go get what i'm missing also as a dev/mod nicely dodged before, the location is an info already into the game, it's only needed a smart way to make it visible
I like the idea, BUT it has one bad side. Did you ever notice that the Pokedex lags a little bit when you open it? That's a loading time baby, and the more you put in it, the more it takes to load.
that's more about the shitty management of loading and memory/bandwidth usage than the infos's size fault, it's not impossible at all having a pokedex which loads the further infos only when you're asking for them
