  1. Oh yeah, I though about that too when comparing Pokemons. It would be very handy. It would also be cool to be able to see the whole status card at once (in a bigger window). This would be useful when calculating IV (being able to see HP and other stats at once) and to take screenshots for trades. Maybe add an other tab (aligned to the right) that expands the window and shows everything.
  2. Having only 1 of each TM just forces competitive players to make alts endlessly and this ain't fun at all. So unless a way to limit alts exist (I don't know any besides 1 character per IP/Mac Address, but that's still bad and exploitable) this shouldn't be considered a viable choice. We already went over this a few locked topics ago.
  3. They could add a trophy room to the Pokemon League building were there will be an always expanding hallway of the victors, listing winners of every major tournament (maybe 1 new trophy per month)
  4. This would be a great feature for later. It would be nice to also be able to show your Pokemon to others quickly in this manner. "Want a Diglet? I got these"
  5. Maybe just add a chat command for now that opens up the status windows of the last caught Pokemon. Modify the UI later.
  6. People might not know right now how to use the Pokeradar to farm shinies but I guess the word would spread very quickly. Even without increasing the odds of shiny the Pokeradar gives you 3-4 choices of Pokemon each time you use it and the grass will sparkle if it's a shiny, allowing you to check for shinies 4 pokemon at a time instead of 1. I say just remove the shiny bonus, otherwise they won't be rare at all. I never farmed shinies this way but I remember using the Pokeradar to catch a ton of Dittos (since Dittos are pretty rare, getting one every time greatly speeded up the process) so the items has other uses (for EV training too)
  7. The original GTS was a bit flawed because it was hard to have the exactly the Pokemon asked. An easier way would be to be able to ask 1 out of a multiple choices of Pokemons that the seller wants or money. To not enter a comprehensive and detailed list of every Pokemon you want every time you offer a Pokemon on the GTS, wishlists could be implemented. You can add detailed descriptions of each Pokemon you want to your wishlist and when you put a Pokemon on the GTS you check which Pokemon of your wishlist would be a valid offer. You could also search for Pokemons from your wishlist while browsing for deposited Pokemons. (Wishlists aren't my idea but it would be nice to use them with these options on the GTS)
  8. I liked how they handled rare items in B/W: http://bulbapedia.bu...Treasure_hunter I free rare item per day. Could ask a big amount of money instead of being free in the MMO (we need some money sinks) This would work even better in an MMO. Important note: just make sure you can't get non-Gen1 Pokemons before E4
  9. It would be wise to only list met (maybe caught) Pokemon. You can still know you miss a few by some kind of indicator. This way the surprise is saved for later. Route 22: Rattata ??? Spearow
  10. Actually it's going under vote on the main page poll, I think it's not totally out of question.
  11. MMOs always do stuff like that. Bonus Exp weekend, more drops today. Of course it needs to happen for shinies. As long as it's still low enough to not ruin the rarity it's cool. It would also create situations such as "MORE SHINIES!?!? NOW IS THE TIME TO GO CATCH MEWTWO"
  12. Using Pokemon Online/Smogon guidelines for competive play is the way to go. If its not completely fine for an MMO just adjust things later. No items or something like the Miracle shooter from Black/White is the only way to go with this.
  13. Yeah having this as a setting would be cool. LEAD POKEMON VS WILD FIRST >CHOOSE Having this option in trainer battles doesn't make much sense since both trainers would want to counter the lead of the other.
  14. Since other areas are probably far, far ,far away and that this would be relatively easy to implement it could be in the game until its possible to obtain the Pokes in an other way. This way, all Gen3 Pokemons are always available (at least the commons ones)
  15. I though about something similar a while back. A good way to implement this and to make it something worthwhile would be something like this: -Make it that each zone has a "pile" of freed Pokemon. Pokemons are put in the zone that works best with their level and favorite habitat (maybe put high level in post e4 area or in completely new areas) -Since these Pokemons are special and will usually not be the normal species for the area make it so that the chance to get meet one is quite low (like 5% or lower) People don't free that many Pokemons aside from breeding or catching certain natures I think and people will also often catch these rare trained Pokemons when they see them so I the server probably won't have to keep track of too many freed Pokemons. Still, to make things more interesting and limit the possible data, it would be nice to follow a few rules: -No more then 100 (or any reasonable number) freed Pokes in the same region. When going over 100, delete the oldest one. -Only Pokemons with over 30 EVs are kept (because catching a freed wild Pokemon with no training is lame and to limit people who could try to clear the old Poke by catching and freeing. Also Pokemons who are freed after a nature/IV check won't clutter the system)
