Shouldn't the Pokedex learn all this stuff when you catch the Pokemon? It knows a lot of other data like biography, average height, average weight, footprint, area, etc.

This game, these developers, and the community does not do well with temporary solutions. This particular one takes a lot away from a future region.

Gee, I wonder why. The idea on the whole is superfluous and not something I think most people would want at all times. Maybe in some kind of event/party/secret base type thing, but since we don't have a foundation for any of that, yet, I don't really care for this.

Xela, there is still a problem when switching between tabs. If I go into my Trade/Global tab, the entire chat history gets flooded and quickly erases saved PMs even when switching back to Whispers. I think this idea would work (but probably as just a second tab that only stores whispers and saves them, instead of a separate window) but the OP was awful.
